Room was bigger and nicer than expected given look of the outside of the building. Had lots of room. Good location on quiet street except for hourly church bells.

Great location! It's an older motel & the rooms are small & nothing fancy. But! They have kept the rooms very clean & well maintained & the bed's are comfortable. This last trip, they let us store our things in their garage because we were there early & even moved it all into our room when it was ready & let us check in early. The staff were so friendly & went out of their way to be helpful. We have stayed here over several years when catching the ferry to Canada & will keep doing so.

Well maintained and tastefully decorated room. Everything was ready for us. We arrived late (10pm) and then left early the next morning (6:30am), so were only in the room for a brief stay but everything was excellent.

Super quiet residential location, living room had big picture windows from which we could see the mountain. Big kitchen, good beds. Very clean. Nice shower, pleasant overall feel. Great location to explore Olympic national park with easy access to the amenities in town.

We were only there two evenings, but were unhappy with both restaurants that we chose for dinner. They were identified as the best or better ones in town. However, we did not enjoy it. We really would’ve enjoyed some good seafood. Decision to stay there was only to see high Ridge in the Olympics and it was fantastic.

Although we were only there for 1 night as we moved on to Vancouver Island the following day, Port Angeles seemed to have the quaintness of a small town, but with plenty of facilities. Obviously the proximity to Olympic NP & ferry services are the main plusses.

Port Angeles is centrally located to all the natural areas...
Port Angeles is centrally located to all the natural areas you would like to visit. Many places are closed at the beginning of the week. Cruise ship comes in and that makes restaurants really busy at dinner time. Plan ahead if you want to eat somewhere nice. Kokopelli Grill was nice and food was good but getting a seat took awhile. Some people couldn’t be seated. Try to get the shuttle that goes to Hurricane Ridge then you can go anytime. If you are a car, you’ll have to get up there early.

Stayed in Port Angeles because it was so close to Hurricane Ridge in the national Park. Had dinner at Joshua's restaurant next to the Super 8. The pictures hanging on the walls of the restaurant are good enough to be in an art gallery--very impressed!

I'm weird because I love clouds and rain, and I hate heat. P.A.has my ideal climate.
The town is just the right mix of city and suburbs. The houses and neighborhoods are all so cute and wonderful. I am seriously considering moving there.
Best restaurant: New Day Eatery
Best american breakfast: Chestnut Cottage
The room itself was clean, it was nice and warm when we got in - which was nice considering how cold and snowy it was outside. It’s ideally located from the Main Street in Port Angeles, as well a one of the Olympic NP visitor center. We arrived way earlier than check-in time but were still able to get a room and get settled. Check-out was so easier with a drop off box for the room key outside of the office.
Very nice place. Feels like you are at a fancy lodge in the national park. Fireplace in the lobby with living room style space for relaxing. Beautiful views. Nice staff and clean luxury rooms. Comfortable bed, linens and pillows. Really was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. Close to downtown Port Angeles for good food and shops. We will be back.
Our bell tent, tucked away in a gorgeous forest grove, was wonderful! The space was clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The setting was beautiful as well and location was close to all the spots we wanted to visit (Mount storm king, HOH, Port Angeles, etc.)
A nice, quiet location in the woods. The windows inside the house gave great views all around the house and it had a nice 70’s house vibe. It was just up the hill from the turn off to Hurricane Ridge. And about 10-15 mins down into Port Angeles and access to Hwy 101.
Microwave & minifridge in room. It’s in good proximity to Hurricane Ridge hikes - but then, all Port Angeles hotels are. Safeway, Taco Time, Wendy’s are nearby plus more moderate restaurants (the Safeway deli case has the best grab-and go sandwiches though).
excellent location for ferry and transit. Was not on the main highway thru town where most other hotels/motels were located so avoided the constant traffic noise. Beautiful views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic range.
Everyone was very friendly. We didn't realize but a healthy breakfast was included. After checking out they kept our backpacks secure so we could go bike riding. The facilities were clean and it was very quiet.
Staff was friendly and the check in process was easy. This was the cheaper of the hotels available. It was conveniently located. There really wasn't a better option in this town.
Port Angeles was a two day base of operations to see Olympic National Park and Victoria, BC. It was located close to restaurants and the usual facilities you want on a trip.
This is an amazing value hotel. I’ve given it top marks all around for a 2-star hotel. It is clean and comfortable and the owners are wonderfully friendly and ready to help.
This is a great place for location in Port Angeles. The owner was lovely. Everything was simple, clean, and comfortable with an affordable price. Would stay again!
