Econo Lodge, hotel in Rawlins

The Quality Inn hotel is located north of Interstate 80, just two miles from the Rawlins Airport.

EconoLodge met my needs of clean, quiet, safe and economical. It was very inexpensive so I was OK with there being a small hole in the rug and the furnishings a bit beat up or dated. I was only there to sleep while traveling so I was happy with the service they provided.

If your comfortable enough with extremely ice cold winds...

If your comfortable enough with extremely ice cold winds that rip through regularly and winter driving conditions and your not big on crowded towns with all those shopping malls than it's a good place to go. Especially for hunters, there's a lot of game out there and those of you who like photographing colorful sunrises and sunsets,Rawlins has a huge sky that often has so many vibrant colors you can't tell if your looking at the morning sky or setting sun. Great panoramic views!😁 Don't speed here though, they are very serious about that 30 mph😅

I did not enjoy my time in Rawlings.

I did not enjoy my time in Rawlings. I could not get any phone service during my time there. Just a bad feeling when I saw the hotel we booked online. The photos were not representative of the hotel and felt disappointed when we got there. We decided to move on to another town and left after checking into the hotel. I’m sure there are nice hard working people there and perhaps the town is great but upon our short visit we were not able to find a good reason to stay.

    Rawlins is a small town.

Rawlins is a small town. Best Western appears to be one of the better places to stay. Except for the bathroom, the rest of the room was clean. Beds are comfortable. Had a hard time finding a place to eat for dinner but the diner we found was very good. Breakfast at the hotel was not very good, did not compare to other Best Westerns that I have stayed at.

The room and hotel are very old.

The room and hotel are very old. It seemed surface clean however there is only so much can be done with rugs, old floors, paint, fixtures, which made all seem not clean.. There was a bug running across floor in bathroom. The TV did not work, could only turn on, off. Volumn worked, but channel would not change. Went to front desk area and they showed how to work (not different than doing) But still did not work. Gave up. All in all will not stay again.

Friendly, quick checkin. Bathroom was clean but toilet a bit on the low side. It was low to the ground. The breakfast next morning was good. A nice selection of breakfast foods. Room was clean and neat.

Classic American budget hotel. Clean rooms, clean beds, very quiet place, overall we say it's fine, the only two sore points are: 1) tub with obvious traces of dirt, rust/limescale. Just use powder products to clean everything, and make everything white and clean. 2) The TV doesn't work, the signal comes and goes, you can't see any channels, the decoder has very short cables and when they clean it you risk having them disconnected. Check the length of the cables and the decoder/TV signals.

Compared to the other places I stayed on my road trip it was paradise. If you're going to be a pet-friendly hotel then be a pet friendly hotel. Why are pet owners put in the worse rooms? I'm happy to pay a substantial deposit, and as a pet owner I travel with cleaning supplies, etc. Hold pet owners accountable but don't make us settle for less than what you offer.

We booked for 2 nights at this hotel once at the start of our trip and once at the end. The first stay we waited an hour before someone came to the desk after I had Facebook messaged where was everyone? Apparently someone had walked out without saying so they were unaware. The receptionist was very apologetic. The room was fine and as we'd expected for the price.

Great location off of I-80. Pet Friendly. Definitely a dated motel but was comfortable, allowed pets and provided a decent continental breakfast. Cannot beat the price! Especially for just a quick overnight to take a break from driving during a Wyoming wind and snow storm. Conveniently located near food/gas/Starbucks and grocery store.

Before I checked in, I was putting windshield wiper fluid in my car. The maintenance man came out to see if I needed any help. That was very nice. The hotel is a little worn down but a nice, quiet place to stay. The place is clean, the bed was comfortable, and I had plenty of hot water. They even had whole milk at breakfast!

The location was great. The hotel was a dive. We purposely paid more for this place hoping to get a nice hotel. We should’ve saved our money and paid less for a different place. It’s getting run down and the breakfast was practically nothing. They didn’t even have hot water.

The owner/Manager was extremely helpful in many ways related to the Teton National Park and to the fine cuisine in the Rawlins area. We would definitely stay at this location again on a future trip.

The king size bed was one of the most I’ve ever had in a hotel. The under a hundred bucks price was a lot lower than other places in town.
