Lake Front is conveniently located to all the sites I wanted to see, and all the activities I wanted while there. Waking up in the morning and looking out over Lake Otsego is worth the trip!

We visited Cooperstown last July for an art exhibit and fell in love with it! Today we left the Landmark Inn with gratitude for the huge degree of professionalism and hospitality from the owners and staff, from our greeting to the gorgeous room, to out gourmet breakfast. Personal attention to visitors needs and comfort was truly apparent when the owner told us that they wanted to tarp our oak artist easel to protect it against any possible dew overnight in their private parking lot.
Spotting the copy of The Creative Act, by Rick Rubin in the sitting room, among other art books and seeing the contemporary original works on display made a big impact as well.

Excellent location for attending Glimmerglass Opera...
Excellent location for attending Glimmerglass Opera performances (only a ten mile drive through beautiful upstate New York countryside). Same distance to Cooperstown to attend nostalgia baseball games. Downtown Cooperstown has many stores of interest offering tourist souvenirs as well as numerous baseball nostalgia items. At typical cost of $120 per room per night, this motel is a genuine bargain. However, the rooms are small. Housekeeping for motel rooms is excellent. Rooms were cleaned promptly by mid-morning.
The best restaurant experiences were in Cooperstown. However, these were also the most expensive. On the whole, restaurants were moderate in what they charged. Richfield Springs has a very good pizza restaurant called "Pizza New York" locate a short block from the motel. The town also has an inferior Chinese restaurant called "Foo Chow." Skip this one.

Loved the small town atmosphere with much historic background. Motel was right across the street from the weekly Farmers Market in the well maintained town park. Close to eateries, gas and conveniences stores. Right on a very popular scenic route with easy access to other towns and area destinations.

We’ve been visiting Richfield Springs for many years.
We’ve been visiting Richfield Springs for many years. It’s got a lot of the charm you look for in the Mohawk Valley, and it’s handy to area attractions - opera fest, museums, antiquing, dining, lakes. It’s at a somewhat higher elevation than NYC, where we’re from, so in high summer, the evenings can very often be comfortably cool.
The only troubling item this time around was a very rundown home we had to pass on our way to and from our rental - where, very sadly, two very large flags were flying from the front porch, one of which had shockingly vulgar content about the current White House administration, and the other a MAGA reference that could only be called painfully ironic.

Great old architecture in small town to see.
Great old architecture in small town to see.
Few choices of where to eat.
Could walk through most of the small town.
Other than some interesting historical markers to read, not much to do.
If one got very lucky, as I did, a nice evening of musical entertainment happened in the small town park the night I stayed there.

Great location if you are spending time in Cooperstown NY and the surrounding area. Very quiet and peaceful location. The owners were super friendly and they definitely put a lot of work into the apartment. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone!!
I think this was a 60’s era motel. Well kept up. Easy access. We came to see Cooperstown but lodging there is very expensive so this was a good alternative. Though it is 10 miles away. The room was clean and spacious. Owners responsive and helpful.
This is a great spacious apartment. It is spotless and nicely decorated. The kitchen is well equipped. It is in a rural area with easy access to Cooperstown, Little Falls, Lake Gilbert State Park, and the Erie Canalway trail.
It was very clean with a great pool and common area. The hotel room was spacious. The owners were great and there was everything you would need. It was a homy atmosphere within a hotel setting.
Janet and David were awesome. So friendly and had great recommendations and stories. The pool/sauna/hot tub came in very handy when my son was injured playing baseball in Cooperstown.
This was a last minute booking for a wedding in Cooperstown, and could not have been more happy, rooms are huge, beds are comfortable, 15 minutes to Cooperstown. Value was great.
