They are remodeling. Lobby is torn up and had to use outdoor exits to reach the rooms.
Also the rooms were loud. You could hear every word spoken in the hallway, and when the shower in the next room was used it sounded like it was in our room.

I enjoyed the layout of the room, huge TV on a swivel so I could watch while having breakfast in the kitchen area and then when winding down in bed.. Awesome.

Extended stay was excellent but can’t say that for booking dot com I’ve had bad experience with them tge last three times I’ve used them with them not tefundubg me a complete no stay which was cancelled due to medical reasons and proper documentation was offered and sent with result of no refund whatsoever and the following three bookings resulted in booking ,com over charging me for the reservation, thank god tge manager at tge extended stay was kind enough to recognize that I was not only a military veteran but that I was overcharged for tge reservation in the first place but took care of me to no end I thank them for that.
The fact that booking . Com is in the UK And there’s nothing the American consumer can do to dispute it or that they will even back up the consumer in any way is just not even right but that they let their contractors take advantage of their customers that’s just a shame now in out 700$

I booked this through booking.com. through booking.com it lists that there is an indoor pool and there is a buffet breakfast. There was no breakfast buffet at the property and the pool was not working. I was very dissatisfied with this booking through booking.com as well as the property at Rio rancho. I will not recommend booking.com nor will I recommend this hotel in Rio Rancho.

Río Rancho is a beautiful area, you find shopping centers, restaurants and it is a very clean area. Besides the the bad experience we had at the hotel we choose to stay. Definitely we will come back but choose a different hotel to stay in.
By the way the hotel we stayed in was Extended Stay America Suite. They advertise as non-smoking facility but since the moment you enter it’s smells like cigarettes even inside the rooms and they don’t have breakfast neither as advertised.

We are former residents and love Rio Rancho. Had to relocate but visit family and enjoy the town and the location.
Much less crime than Albuquerque and much cleaner.
The city government is always doing great things from infrastructure to helping keep citizens safe and great schools.

Unfortunate the road we came down was jam packed due to construction and 6 o clock traffic. But overall i like the town and there was plenty to do. We went to Wal-Mart and had to pay for our bags. I was a bit surprised when i saw the charge because i want even warned they charge. Southern NM doesn't implement that so i was kinda disappointed of the no heads up
Liked the location, room was comfortable. The water in the pool was a little cool, but we enjoyed it with our grandkids for a while, till the kids started shivering. We didn't eat breakfast there, which was an additional cost. The biggest surprise was a $50 registration fee. We were already paying $130/night for a standard hotel room without an included breakfast. We probably won't staas boted abovey here again because of the total price.
This was the worst experience I have ever encountered with a hotel. I booked my booking with booking.com and the staff said I never booked and the booking did not show up. I had to pay for an extra room and then they said 9t would be 159.00 and it was actually 200. They are scammers. This was a horrible experience.
The hotel is clean and affordable. The room had a refrigerator, microwave, safe, iron and ironing board, excellent cable TV, plenty of places to plug in phone chargers and such, a good-sized wardrobe, and plenty of room. Friendly staff.
