No mini fridge in room, most hotels have even budget hotels.
No mini fridge in room, most hotels have even budget hotels. Ice machine broken. Also found an old cookie on floor, a used bandana, a remote they must of thought lost. If house keeping can't find that but I can with a 1 night stay that's scary!
They are deceiving.
I booked a room online. When I came to check in I was told there were no rooms available. I went to another hotel. But they refused to refund my money, they told the booking representatives that they had a room for me. That's horrible. I have traveled in 14 countries of the world, this is the first time I have encountered such a scam.
Stayed at the hotel with my scout troop. They would not accept my troop credit card, they would not let the boys swim without an adult, yet nothing was posted indicating this, breakfast was none existent. Breakfast I had confirmed at check-in and I was assured that there would be one. This was the main reason we had chosen this hotel.
We did not have breakfast, but I was impressed with the Keurig coffee maker in the room which made for enjoyable small cup of coffee when a lot of hotels have bad coffee. Even though we didn't this option, I liked the option to be able to get food orders from S&T.
The staff were very personable and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The pool and hot tub were clean. The beds were probably the most comfortable beds we've ever had in a hotel. We'll definitely stay here again.
