Location was nice. However, the room was one of the worst I have every stayed in. It was not like any of the pictures on their website. The room was infested with ants, stove didn't work and the shower head was falling off the wall.Alison - 10Scored 10

Tahoe Vista has one of the best beaches on Lake Tahoe, without the crowded atmosphere of the South Shore. It is our favorite location on Lake Tahoe and has been for many years. Spindleshanks Restaurant is fantastic for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There are not enough stars to describe this great place. Spacious outdoor deck, fabulous service and amazing menu!

It is a very rustic lodge which is alright as long as you aren't expecting the same amenities like a chain hotel. It is comfortable but a hike to get to your room. If you have a car it is much easier because you can park on each level. They are remodeling the rooms and they are nice. I am a little more spoiled when it comes to hotels and like the bells and whistles that come with most hotels. You would be very comfortable here if you are an no frills person. I can't say enough about the staff they were very very helpful and friendly. I think a lot of the hotels in Lake Tahoe are older so this one seemed to he one of the nicer ones.CCyndyUnited States

Although it may seem that it’s just another motel type building, it actually made a good impression as hotel looks fresh and modern. Contactless check-in check-out make the process very straightforward and no need for lock cards. They have keypad locks instead. And the lake is across the highway. Our room on the second floor had a good view.

The rooms are large and comfortable and very well equipped. The swimming pool is small but not busy and perfect for traveling with kids as there is a shallow area only 3ft deep.
