The property and staff are fine. I’ve stayed there before. The problem on this occasion was I had to cancel the day before the trip. I knew according to the terms of the contract that I was responsible for the full amount of the booking. However, I reached out to the property and to Booking to see if there could be an adjustment. The person at the property seemed to say they would waive the fee. Booking said they emailed the property to confirm they would waive the fee but never heard back. The property said they never received the email from Booking. After several calls, I’ve dropped the matter. I feel the property and Booking should have just said no to waiving the fee at the start and saved me some bother. I
