There was no continental breakfast, although the gift shop offered snacks and some food items for purchase along with many cute/clever gifts. The view was "grand." The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Lots of parking and close to restaurants and shopping.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Lake Lucille Bed & Breakfast! Carol was a wonderful host. She even went shopping to get a particular coffee creamer that the guests preferred! It was great talking with her about the local culture and all the interesting facts and trivia of Alaska.

The size, equipment and comfort of the bedroom and kitchen area.
We came for the start of the Iditarod. The property that we stayed at was excellent. Only there for one night, too short! Had a wonderful dinner at Meta & Rose, highly recommend going there for dinner.

What I liked the most? Well we wanted to be left alone.
What I liked the most? Well we wanted to be left alone. They did that!
What we did not like: first off the ads and website said Pet friendly, we booked the spa suite, and was told upon checking in that no dogs were allowed, corporate rule, not stated on web site.
The hot tub had only warm water the first day and night, only usable the last night. The restaurant was closed early by an hour, for any food.
all and all this was a big disappointment! Not worth the amount we had to pay, charge was over what website said!!

Room was nice, no issues with the room itself.
Room was nice, no issues with the room itself. The traffic was incredibly loud, we didn’t sleep at all. Need to request a room on the backside. Good thing was when I went down to the front desk at 530am after not sleeping and asked to change rooms right then, they accommodated us, moving us across the hall! So either bring ear plugs or request a room facing the mountains, not the hwy!

Wasilla was large enough to have shopping, but not so very large to be intimidating. Access to groceries was good. I did not eat out as the B&B offered a great breakfast. Wasilla is close to Hatchers Pass, mining, etc.

I have been here before and was safisfied. This time was not satisfied. No service, was totally ignored except for taking our money. No clean towels, no coffee, no TV, promised to come fix but didn;t. Bad weekend!

Great town. But stay away from the McDonald's in town.
Great town. But stay away from the McDonald's in town. They are horrible, very rude staff and unhealthy conditions. Not worth the risk. Plenty of other fast food options. Everywhere else in Wasilla was great. Beautiful views and friendly people, other than their McDonald's.
Very cozy and quiet with thoughtful amenities prepared by Maryanne. She was very friendly to us and we learn so much about Alaska from her. We met for the first time but talked like long time friends. Home is right by the mountains with beautiful views and was told that northern lights could be visible from the house. We didn’t stay in Palmer long enough to catch the lights but surely would love to come back again!
We read online that they were pet friendly, but the hostess at the front desk told us no pets in spa room. She was hateful and rude upon arrival. I re-read the online ads and web page and only saw pet friendly. So I don't know where she got her info. She said, it is corporate policy that no pets in the spa. The hot water in the spa was Lukewarm the first night, only. So, spa was out of the question for use.
Absolutely 💯 no complaints. The entire experience was amazing. It definitely beats an A-Typical Hotel Stay. The Susitna Suites provided everything in order for the average person to go about their daily lives. Like a home away from home. 10 min to Wasilla shopping stores. 50 minutes to the airport. Nice quiet neighborhood nestled in the woods. I'm coming back Ginger 😉
Super helpful hosts with great stories to share - they were lovely to us. A homey and cosy environment, though with spacious, comfortable rooms. The garden is beautifully kept and right next to the lake. Breakfast was magnificent - we didn't need to eat for quite some time afterwards :) thank you very much! We'll be back when we're next in Wasilla!
After realizing we will stay at a private house and not a hotel, our stay was awesome!
The house and everything is new and we loved to sit in the big comfy kitchen-living room, had some food, hot tea and felt home.
Maryanne is a wonderful host and helping with everything! She even made us a yummy breakfast!
AMAZING
This B&B was absolutely beautiful. The rooms and especially the landscape was amazing. Very peaceful and easy check in. If you are in the Wasilla area, Lake Lucille is a diffinant stay. Exceptional price for all that you get. Would stay again.
Minutes from Wasilla was great! Plenty of room having a huge living room! Beautiful property right on the lake. We walked on the frozen lake!!Fireplace in room was nice. Huge breakfast! And cute plentiful gift shop of handmade crafts by host!
The hotel and grounds were so beautiful! Our little boy loved feeding the ducks. The staff was nice and the beds were comfortable. We appreciated the fact that breakfast was served until 10 a.m. so that we could sleep in a little.
Down on business with the family. Was very convenient for location and what we needed. Comfy, clean, cute and good rates. We will rent again if available on our next trip through wasilla.
Room was clean and comfortable; the hotel was well maintained and some rooms have a pretty lake view.
Helpful staff suggested and excellent place for dinner.
