The hotel was well located and very well kept. All employees that I encountered were very polite and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

Laura in the spa was amazing! I had a seasonal scrub w/ cranberries etc, but I'm sure any service she provides will be outstanding. All the staff was wonderful, grounds are beautiful and John Ash room service was delicious!

What incredibly beautiful accommodations set in a most beautiful location! We enjoyed swimming in the heated pool and then relaxing in the jacuzzi. My husband and I loved the breakfast that was included with our stay - both the meal and dining room were superb. I thought the hotel would be very nice from the website photos but we were both so happy with our room, and we are looking forward to our next time staying at the Ruse.

It's the perfect location for the activities we planned for the weekend. Hiking at the Riverfront Regional Park and Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve, and a quick visit to Korbel Champagne Cellars. We even had time to check out the Windsor Farmer's Market at the end of our trip.

We were traveling as a family of seven including two very young children. Accommodations were excellent.
We did not appreciate the high pressure at the concierge desk to attend a complementary breakfast which we later learned included a sales pitch. It was very noisy in that area, and the explanation was difficult to understand.
We did not have cell phone service in the apartment. We had to go to our car to use our phones. Also, we did not appreciate having to pay for WiFI and that only two devices could access this service.
Lovely spacious home with everything you need for a weekend in wine country. We were especially drawn to the comfortable outdoor patio area when we booked and it did not disappoint! Perfect spot for morning coffee and evening wine. The owner, Nicole, was easy to work with and shared great recommendations for our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this home.
The reception staff were efficient, friendly and courteous, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was much better than most of our experiences in this type of hotel. The breakfast area was kept spotless and food choices refilled promptly. Hot dishes were varied each day. Again, cheerful and efficient staff are always a bonus.
Loved the cleanliness, comfort, location, breakfast, pool facilities and parking. Most of all, the friendliness of staff from the receptionist, breakfast manager to the cleaning staff. This is a very well run hotel by someone who understands what good customer service is all about.
We were traveling up California wine and coast, our car was packed with stuff that we didn’t want to unload, I chose this hotel for the parking garage, it felt safe and well lit. The room was clean and comfortable and the 2 gentleman at reception were happy and professional.
Well lighted, clean and the breakfast is super good. The only problem I have but not really the hotel is my height. I'm 5'1" and the bed is way too high for me (lol) but comfortable. It has ref & microwave to heat up food. Location of the hotel is close to restaurants.
Location is good for being in Windsor - walking distance to the downtown area for restaurants and biking distance to vineyards we like to go to! It's more affordable than other hotels in the area while still providing good accommodations, comfortable beds, and clean rooms.
Relatively large room with a microwave and fridge. Reasonably clean. Compared to other hotels during these pandemic times, the breakfast offered was rather generous. While minimal, there is some covered parking.
