No free breakfast. At a resort you would expect free breakfast for the cost of the room. Since this location has a restaurant the breakfast is not free. Ebb tide/ sailor Jacks are cheaper and have free breakfast.

We love the nostalgic feel of the little roadside motel. It is so comfortable, clean, affordable and a wonderful location!

We've stayed only here since we discovered it years ago.The view is spectacular and there are so many different kinds of beaches and beachcombing opportunities. They are dog friendly which is a definite yes for us! The little shops in Yachats, Waldport and Newport have aniques, local artists designs, kites and a vast variety of items. Something for everyone! The food was delicious everywhere we went.

Sweet little town.
Sweet little town. Several places to stop and enjoy the ocean views or walk upon the beach. A coffee shop that sells Vegan pastries that are wonderful. A small grocery store, ice cream shop, as well as a few places to eat. Within 30 minutes of some bigger towns if you want more options for eating and sightseeing.

The home was at a quiet location with great views and beach access was ok. The home had everything needed. No cell phone service at the home at all. WiFi was good. DISH TV was not too good except for Netflix or HULU. The carpet needs updated otherwise the home was clean and the bedrooms were roomy. The actual driveway entrance needs better signage or something it was very hard to see. We really like how quiet the location was and the view was excellent. everything was very good except for the cell service which was annoying.

Yachats is great!
Yachats is great! Especially loved Smelt Sands Park, great views and easy access. I love Cape Perpetua, the Visitor's Center and the many beach access points and sights. Hadn't been there for many years and it was just as wonderful as I remembered. The Cape Perpetua Campground is comfortable and well kept. We enjoyed some cute little shops. All in all, couldn't ask for a better 3 days with so many things to do and see!

Yachats has always been my go to place on the Oregon coast.
Yachats has always been my go to place on the Oregon coast. The 804 trail cuts through the rocky part of the beach which then extends 7 miles north To Waldport. My family owned a little red cabin at the end of the 804 trail for over 50 years. My whole childhood was spent playing on the beach and rocks, hiding out in the spruce forests, and walking miles down the beach towards Waldport. My father would fish off the rocks and catch Perch back in the 60's. My sisters and I would hunt for agates and Japanese floats on the waters edge. Many magical memories.

Great service, everything you need to feel relaxed.
Great service, everything you need to feel relaxed.
Gym, Laundry room, swimming pool, restaurant and movie rentals. The view and the crashing sound of the waves are awesome. Great trail along the beach. Downtown has some really good restaurants. Leroy’s Blue Whale restaurant is the best.
We had a big enough room to add additional bed (5 of us) with the view of the ocean and direct access to the shore. The location is spectacular as long as you have a room with a view. There is a wheelchair accessible trail which goes either to the village of yachats or to the beach. The location is very relaxing and close to many places worth seeing at Oregon coast but not close to restaurants or shops. My son appreciate the swimming pool. Big parking
The location!!!! (it's the best-situated house I've stayed at in Yachats and I've stayed there A LOT) The fenced yard for the dog :) :) :) The 50+ buoys 💖💖💖. The house was in solid shape and all the amenities were nicer and more functional than I'd predicted from pics or experienced at a lot of other OR coastal rentals( eg the knives are actually sharp ;) My new midlife love and I will be staying there again I hope - it was wonderful.
The room was fine. It was a pet room with no carpet. I did not expect or ask for a pet room, but it made no difference. We were located in an annex building separated from the main lodge. As such, we were not part of the hotel and felt somewhat isolated. This was also a plus in that there was no noise from other lodgers. The ice machine was broken. This was an inconvenience.
Great spot to enjoy being on the sand and relaxing from the big city! Good size rooms with kitchen and simulated fireplace. Wonderful staff and they offer all sorts of fun things to borrow (I loved the kites!). I highly recommend the hotel for a visit away from it all! I’ll be back!!!!
The rooms actually look nicer than the photos, because the floors have been re-done since the photos were taken. The room was bright, spacious, modern and comfortable. The location was wonderful, walking distance to downtown Yachats and to access to a lovely rocky portion of the beach.
Location. Beautiful views from deck, easy walking distance to Yachats restaurants and stores. House was very clean and well stocked with everything you might need. Note that the only TV is in the master bedroom (wasn’t an issue for us, but might be for others).
The staff are lovely, and the location is great right on the beach and charming. Everything you need to enjoy your time is right here or close by, a few minuets to town, close to parks or a bigger city (Newport) so you have the best of all parts of the coast.
It was great having a picnic table outside our room. We grilled some smokies and stayed at the property for dinner.
Hotel is very welcoming to dogs and had dog toys to borrow.
Good selection of movies and games available in the lobby to borrow.
All the rooms have great ocean views, including our double queen room. The hotel is in a great location in Yachats close to town. The included breakfast is a step above the usual free hotel breakfast.
Excellent location and views - right on the sea. 25 minute walk to town, or 4 min drive. Very clean rooms and a lot of amenities. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the area.
Ideally located being on Highway 101 and about 500 feet from the oceanview. It has a lighthouse as an attraction in the premises. Restaurants in Yachats are just a walk away. Cozy place.
Great hotel, Excellent room, very clean, contortable bed. The staff is very nice. I love you can walk 20 steps away to the ocean. Nice walking path We love the town of Yahats.
