Nghe An has a unique tea island in the whole country and it's very picturesque that cannot be found any where in Vietnam. Khe Kem waterfalls is OK but pretty far from Vinh. There isn't many choice for tasty food though.

Not much to do here . We stopped en route from Hanoi south to break our journey . We picked a hotel with s pool . Pool was green and not useable! Walking in the area is difficult as footpaths poor .

A very local city, not set up for tourists and any attraction that’s were there were closed. As two girls travelling, we encountered multiple men trying to force us onto their motorbikes as well as yell at us, which made us feel incredibly uncomfortable for the one day we spent there. We heard the outer regions are nice but couldn’t find any information or tours to help us get out there.

We have been to Vietnam a lot , but never to Vinh. This town is very different as the rest of Vietnam. There are hardly any tourist, as there is nothing spectacular to be seen, however the town is rebuild in a very special way, with canals, and lots of recreation areas.
