The rondavels on the river are very nice. The rooms were all full but looked very nice. The breakfast was very basic , the food in the bain marie's was always cold but the omlettes were well cooked. The bread was just plain cheap bread - you can buy seed loaf and other bread at all Supermarkets.

Hoekwil is beautiful with lots to see - there is a big tree nearby which you can visit (make sure to wear comfortable shoes). There are also a few nice places to eat, drink coffee and enjoy the quiet surrounds. The accommodation in the area is also very nice and neat.
