We unfortunately never got to sit down and have breakfast at the facility as we got an urgent call that our child was not well and had to be taken to the hospital. We therefore had to cut our stay short, slept only one night, when we had paid for two nights. upon leaving we asked if the facility could refund our one-night stay, however, they advices that we do that through Bookings.com.

We loved everything about this small hotel and chose to stay their twice during our month in South Africa. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive to our needs. Their attention to details was exceptional (like chocolates on our pillows and a minibar that was included in the room price).The hotel itself is beautiful and the setting, high over Jo-burg with sundrise and sunset views makes it really special. Though a 45 minute taxi drive from the airport, we considered it well worth it and will stay there again in a heartbeat. It was too chilly to swim and we were too busy to climb the trails, but those options would only add to the value of this experience. Our "home away from home" in Jo-burg.
