The house was large and comfortable, very spacious.
The house was large and comfortable, very spacious. We felt at ease and the views were amazing from almost every angle in the house. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. The bathrooms were very good with a bath and a shower. The sound of the ocean in the background of your whole day just made me feel at peace. The sunsets were spectacular to view. We enjoyed our stay at The Ark BnB and can certainly recommend this one. The hosts Marian and Johan were so friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to meet our every need. We were royally treated like good friends. The breakfasts were substantial and absolutely delicious. The room was luxuriously fitted and extremely comfortable and stylish. They also gave suggestions as to what to do and where to visit that was helpful. Pearly Beach itself is a pretty seaside town with lots to see and do. The long beach was clean with silky soft sand

Pearly beach is about 2 hours from Cape Town so be prepared...
Pearly beach is about 2 hours from Cape Town so be prepared to put in the kilometers. You have to drive to Gansbaai for restaurant options and most extra mural activities are in Gansbaai. If you want to cut yourself off from the city life, this is the place to go to. Just remember to make your booking arrangements early especially over the holiday and long weekend periods.
