Quinta do Vau er staðsett í Mértola við ána Guadiana Rivar og býður upp á víðáttumikið útsýni yfir fallega bæinn og ána Guadiana. We had a beautiful view of the river, the old Town and Castle from our room. The room was perfect for our stay. We had a very clean and nice room with privat bathroom with huge shower and shower gel/shampoo and hairdryer. A little fridge, kettle, coffee, tea were available in the room. There were an outside pool. I highly reccomend it. 🙂

Monte Clérigo Casas de Campo er staðsett í Almodôvar og býður upp á sundlaug með útsýni. Það er sérinngangur á gistihúsinu til aukinna þæginda fyrir þá sem dvelja á staðnum. The place is the perfect spot! what a great experience to stay in those worden houses! The very delicious breakfast was offered in little baskets and brought to the house. The kitchen is well equipped. And it was very quiet and relaxing! We‘ll be back!

Casa do Vale er staðsett í 8 km fjarlægð frá rómversku borginni Ammaia og býður upp á loftkæld gistirými með svölum. Þessi sveitagisting er með einkasundlaug, garð og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Located in a beautiful country side, surrounded by nature is great location to hike or bike. It is close to Castelo de Marvao, Castelo da Vide, Menhir de Meade and other lovely medioeval towns, is a place to relax or work with creative projects. I could stay longer if I had have the time, this place is in my list for my next trip to Portugal.

Chão da Velha - Casas de Campo er staðsett í Nisa, í innan við 42 km fjarlægð frá rómversku borginni Ammaia og í 43 km fjarlægð frá Marvao-kastalanum og býður upp á herbergi með loftkælingu og... Set in a small village with only 10 inhabitants, tranquility and nature, this is the place to disconnect and reconnect. Carolina and Francisco are the perfect hosts; always friendly, available and helpful.

Casa do Lado er staðsett í Vila Nova de Milfontes, 1,2 km frá Lighthouse-ströndinni og 700 metra frá Sao Clemente Fort. Gististaðurinn býður upp á garð og útsýni yfir hljóðláta götu. Very lovely room, big and nicely furnished, simple but beautiful decorations, tea and water are provided by hosts. Clean and well smell. Hand made soap. And the cheery on the top of the cake - warm floors heating. We received a link with recommendations about restaurants and activities in the town. My friend tried surfing, we went for dinner in restaurants like 5 mins by foot. The guest house itself is located very close to the center and around 20 mins by foot to the beach. Has enough space for parking. Host asked us questions about food preferences and our breakfast was completely perfect according for requests. Fruits, tea, coffee and fresh water are always available on the common area. Also we were invited for a dinner made by one or the hosts - she is amazing cook and it was a 5 course dinner for 30€ per person. Totally worth it!

Farm Wood House er sveitagisting í Melides á Alentejo-svæðinu. Boðið er upp á verönd og sjávarútsýni. Gestir sem dvelja í þessari sveitagistingu eru með aðgang að svölum. The farm was situated in an amazing location surrounded by trees and nature. It was so quiet, that we could enjoy a night outside looking at the stars and listening to the animals. Also, the breakfast was very fulfilling. We also enjoyed the casual visit of a very cute cat, and the hot tub at night and during the day. The staff was always attentive and helpful with our questions and requests.

O Monte das Flores er staðsett í innan við 10 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá miðbæ Vila Nova de Milfontes. Malhão-strönd er í 3 km fjarlægð frá gististaðnum. 2nd time here. And we'll be back 🙂

Vales do Alentejo er staðsett í Bicos, 28 km frá Sao Clemente-virkinu og 30 km frá Pessegueiro-eyju. Boðið er upp á garð og sundlaugarútsýni. Room was larger than expected. We had a small appartment for ourselves. Very clean. Breakfast was exceptional good

Casa da Paleta er með garðútsýni og býður upp á gistirými með verönd, í um 6,7 km fjarlægð frá rómversku borginni Ammaia. Gistirýmið er með fjallaútsýni, svalir og sundlaug. Loved this beautiful place. We were interested in going to the small town of Marvao. This was only about 15 minutes away, and we loved being out in the countryside. The check in was easy, the room charming, and the view from the pool amazing. Very casual environment, with her sweet animals wandering about. The breakfast she included was amazing. highly recommend this place!

Este alojamento fica a 6 minutos a pé da praia. Localizado a 8 minutos-fornleifasvæðið pé da praia fluvial, a Casa da Torre dispõe de acomodações na aldeia Mina de São Domingos, í 18 km fjarlægð do... Our host, Bruno, was very friendly and accommodating and entertaining. For those who do not speak Portuguese, he speaks English quite well. While we did not meet Isabelle, her presence is felt throughout this beautifully restored old building which she personally re-designed and furnished. Our bed was very comfortable (and this is an important criteria for us with bad backs). It's an intimate accommodation with just 6 rooms, more like a BNB than a hotel, though breakfast is purchased for an additional reasonable cost. The rooms and bathrooms are large and the furnishings and fixtures are modern. There is a comfortable common area living room that is nicely decorated. The town has an interesting history, being a former mining town, though there isn't much to explore and not many dining options in town. If you're able bodied, you should ask Bruno to take you to the top of the old tower through the small "secret" door and spiral staircase... that was fun!
