Outstanding service. Ben was the perfect host - personable, professional and made us feel so at home. The estate itself is stunning and our room was just lovely. We had the most wonderful time here and would happily go back.

The Red Feather Inn is a collection of historic convict-built sandstone buildings, designed by Georgian architect John Sprunt in 1842. It boasts modern suites with views of the garden.

Our breakfast was cereal, yoghurt , toast and Banana bread - all in the fridge in the Attic where we stayed - it was all lovely and just what we needed. There was also tea & coffee. Very easy and appreciated.

The Chapel Deloraine, hotel in Hagley

Situated in Deloraine, in a historic building, 47 km from Country Club Casino, The Chapel Deloraine is a country house with a garden and barbecue facilities.

The chapel is beautiful, both inside and out. Breakfast supplies were great. Everything was comfortable. The open fireplace was a step back to earlier days and for me was the highlight of our visit. The bed in the main bedroom is only a double but it appears to be an original brass and iron bed made in Birmingham complete with overhead canopy for a mosquito screen. something most visitors, including my wife will have never seen. A one minute drive to the town centre or a few minutes walk. Since you cannot see everything in this part of Tasmania in a week or even a month this would be a great base to start from. We only had two nights.

The property was in a lovely location with grounds to walk around. The room was nice and comfortable but could have done with another chair. There was a cute bar in the hotel.

Beautiful estate in a peaceful setting with an adjoining golf course. With some improvement to the existing facilities this could be a great hotel in the future.
