The bed was just wonderful. I arrived very late so soon after I just sank into that devine mattress and did not wake until I left at the crack of dawn.
The shower was amazing! Can't fault the cabin at all.

The motel was good, clean and comfortable, Unfortunately there is no restaurant and not accommodation for breakfast. It does however have a good table and chairs, toaster etc and the leather lounge was exceedingly comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Port Augusta trip.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Port Augusta trip. We stayed at the Augusta Courtyard Motel, which was excellent. There may not be a lot to see but it’s quite a pretty town & nothing’s very far away.
We went down to the wharf for a peaceful stroll and took some lovely photos. Had breakfast in a cafe adjacent to a park, where there was free live music courtesy of a band that was singing and playing. They even supplied fold up chairs for folks to sit in 👍
A great morning was had before we headed off to the race track. Our horse wasn’t a winner but everything else was.
Loved our stay and wished we had an extra night!

The Wadlata Centre was excellent.
The Wadlata Centre was excellent. Certainly worth the entry fee.
We stayed at the Magestic Oasis Apartments - friendly, helpful staff in a lovely location. Full kitchen facilities. The air conditioner was very welcomed as the outside temperature was 42 C. A tad hot!

Odd town shopping area layout.
Odd town shopping area layout.
Wanted to go on Pichi Richi railway but here wrong day unfortunately.
Make sure you visit the water tower. Go up it and enjoy the views of Port Augusta and further afield.
Loved the standard of cabin. Could have done with a lamp in the loungeroom, a little extra cupboard in bathroom and a powerpoint near the bed in the fist bedroom (the smaller one of the two). Everything else was great!! Such a comfortable place to stay and qould have to be one of the cleanest places as far as caravan parks go that I have stayed.
I couldn't fault this place at all, everything was perfect. I even got a early check-in with no hassle at all. The air-conditioning was on so it was comfortable as soon as we got there. Lovely location, lovely staff and the room was beautiful and spotless. Definitely wouldn't stay anywhere else next trip to Port Augusta. Thanks guys
I stay here regularly and its yet to let me down.
Very comfortable rooms with everything a traveler needs.
Basic cooking amenities so you can heat a meal up.
Good desk for working, comfortable bed, comfy couch and an excellent bathroom. Best place to stay in Port Augusta!
perhaps new owners? but place has had a bit of a facelift - security gate manual keys have been replaced with electronic, rooms have been painted new curtains .. just a nice freshen up - as long as parking is available outside the room - certainly my go to in Port Augusta
I have stayed at this hotel multiple times, and it is my hotel of choice in Port Augusta. It is far enough away from the main business area to be quiet, but is still only a short drive. It is near the train lines, but the trains haven't bothered me and I am a light sleeper.
Great value in Port Augusta - modern room - felt really comfy - good cooking facilities - separate bedrooms and living dining area - lovely modern cabins with a great verandah and parking next to cabin - really tidy and very clean - definitely recommend
Excellent motel. Surprisingly quiet even though it was on a very busy road. Very close to a supermarket and a hotel where we had an excellent meal. Nice walk to the Rotary Park and water tower lookout where there was a great view of the area
As there was a mess up with the booking and we could not stay at this exact motel we were moved to another hotel standpipe run by the same company with an upgrade with no extra charge was a really nice stay
Comfort Inn Port Augusta definitely would stay at again. great size room with comfy bed and a great bathroom, also there’s a pub next door but 1 and didn’t hear a thing from it.
Lots of history in this hotel. Frank was very friendly, and the room was perfect for our overnight stay through Port Augusta. We booked again for our return trip back.
We had the most delicious dinner at the Standpipe Motel Restaurant. Beautiful aesthetic and atmosphere, attentive and efficient wait staff, and incredible food.
