- Very clean house. No insects anywhere. Dishware was spotless.
- Good location near the town centre. Overlooking the river and with a supermarket opposite.
- Comfortable beds and pretty good quality beddings.
- Pretty good light blocking with blinds plus partial curtains.
- Hosts in touch through Whatsapp messages, communication was quite good.
- Washing and drying machines are high quality (Miele brand dryer).
- Very good value for money (I increased my score from 9/10 to 10/10 based on good cost).

I think the hotel was originally built in the Socialist era. However, the room was refurbished to a basic but comfortable standard. The rest of the hotel is a work in progress. Several breakfast options, rather than a buffet. Huge portions for items on the dinner menu.

The host was extremely helpful and kind. She contacted me almost immediately after I made the reservation and she was available throughout our stay. Upon arrival we were greeted by a warm welcome snack and a small gift for everyone, related to our traditional 1st of March holiday. I am totally enamored with the Guest House Misha, and the incredible natural wonders nearby. This is the perfect escape and retreat for nature lovers! I ate a beautiful meal at the Guest house. Getting around Petrevene is not easy. I recommend hiring a car, from Sofia with a private day tour, and perhaps return by bus from Lukovit-and bus from Sofia to Lukovit, then ask which bus goes to Petrevene, or hire taxi from Lukovit to the Guest house. Taking the train there was to a different village and I had to pay a large price for a private car to bring me to the guest house.
