It was a comfortable space with everything we needed. Decent location, although not right in the “downtown” core of Rocky Harbour. Lobster point lighthouse is a worthwhile museum to check out as is the short beach hike. Very beautiful with a unique surprise at the end.

Out East B&B, hotel in Rocky Harbour

Boasting barbecue facilities and free WiFi throughout the property, Out East B&B is located in Norris Point. Some guest rooms feature a private bathroom.

Milton and Jean keep an excellent B & B. Their place is cozy, clean, attractively decorated and well-located to access the rest of Gros Morne. Jean's breakfasts are delicious with a different menu every morning. Milt even shot a moose the morning we arrived so we got to see how the meat is prepared. Two days later we were able to sample Jean's tasty moose soup! How's that for a genuine introduction to Newfoundland lifestyle!

Rocky Harbour Oceanfront, hotel in Rocky Harbour

The location was great, the house was so well equipped and comfortable, particularly good for two couples since there were two sections of the house, with one side having a third bedroom for our daughter. Great to have laundry facilities. Liked the mud room, decking and large yard

Gros Morne was the reason we came.

Gros Morne was the reason we came. We did the Bon Tours Western Brook tour and were disappointed in the level of knowledge by one of the tour boat guides. We mentioned. This to the Gros Morne information center since they should be aware. We loved the Bon Tours Anchors Aweigh show. What a great night!

Air conditioning was just being installed and even though there was a fan it was still hot. No elevator, 2 flights of stairs to haul your luggage. Clean room, lovely beds with balcony, I would recommend this location. JD...Ontario

Pretty town with a great Handmade gift shop, good restaurants, Earles and Java Jack's were 2 we got to experience. Great evening activity at the Oceanview Hotel, the Anchors Aweigh show booked through Bon Tours and the Kitchen Party booked at the Anchor Pub in the Oceanview. Great access to Gros Morne attractions such as the Western Brook Pond Tour.

Rocky Harbour is in the western center of Gros Morne.

Rocky Harbour is in the western center of Gros Morne. It is convenient for Western Brook Pond, Cow's Head, Berry Hill Pond, Berry Head Pont and Burnt Hill Trail. We enjoyed Earl's Restaurant with Moose Stew, Moose Burger and Moose Pizza. Out East Adventure Hostel was a nice place to stay for the evening.

The Treasure box restaurant was very affordable and had some local treats and foods that were great. The beaches were easy to get to and comb. The National Park is spectacular. There are very few grocery options so if you are driving from St. John's or Deer Lake, you would be better to pick up most of your supplies before heading into the park. Keep in mind that the restaurants are not open late or for too many hours. We participated in an UNDER THE STUMP ATV tour. This is the only company that offers accessible tours for every ability. We were able to access the park and learn about the local flora and fauna from the indigenous guide, Trina Reid. We also enjoyed a local treat, a small kitchen party, made our own ugly sticks and got screeched in. We would highly recommend UNDER THE STUMP for families with smaller children, anyone with limited mobility or who is not interested or capable of taking on an 8hour hike. We were picked up at the Irving station, less than 500m from the hostel.

The chalet was well equipped for eating.

The chalet was well equipped for eating. The layout was nice. It was solidly built and we felt safe their during the high winds of the hurricane. The representative came by and asked if we required anything. The recommendations would be to have folding luggage holders in the bedrooms, a mirror and more hooks for hanging clothing and towels.

Having a chalet was a treat. We had been traveling for three weeks and stayed in hotels and inns. We purchased groceries and enjoyed cooking breakfast and relaxing in our own house. There are a number of chalets which are beautifully done all on the hillside overlooking Rocky Harbor and Gros Morne. A fantastic location. You need a car or bike to get down to the harbor. The owner and his wife are very attentive and helps out with everything. The chalets are beautifully designed with all amenities.

These cabins are GORGEOUS, inside and out. They have a fantastic and spacious layout on the inside. Check in/out was a breeze and the owners were a phonecall away if we needed anything. We were a few minutes drive into the main Street of Rocky Harbor so getting groceries and dinner was easy. After a week of hotel rooms it was a real treat to have a space to actually relax in with a glass of wine. Can't recommend these chalets enough.

The location is great because it is well within the park boundaries and you can easily drive to most points of interest within about 45 min. We stayed in a newer part of the hotel called the Sundowner rooms which still looked brand new and our double queen room was very spacious. Directly across the street from our room there is a liquor/convenience store. Perhaps a little too convenient.

Oliver's Landing is a beautiful little two-bed cottage in a quiet spot on the edge of Rocky Harbour near the local pond - neat as a pin, and well equipped for travellers at any stage of life. The hosts were lovely - they made us feel like neighbours (and it's such a nice part of the country, I wish we were!)

We stayed in the little cottage in front of the main house. (Main house closed due to Covid). Cabin was super nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was big and nice. Coffee was provided. Location is walkable to downtown where there are a couple of great restaurants. All in all a great stay!

Very nice private room, staff were friendly and helpful! It was nice to have a kitchen, lots of areas to sit, fire pit and back and front deck. Pharmachoice down the road was easily accessible and not a far drive from local restaurants and the 'main' area of Rocky Harbour
