Close to railway station and other public transport. Adequate facilities on site including a lift to higher floors. Room pretty much as expected for this chain of hotels.
Located next to Gotha Ost Train Station, this guest house offers light, modern rooms.

I sent a message to the hotel 4 hours ago and told them that I would arrive a little late, meaning at 12:30. I was there. I called more than a hundred times and no one answered the phone. I stayed waiting for more than an hour and the door was not opened for me. After that, I was not able to enter the hotel.
the only problem i had was the receptionist, not all of them...
the only problem i had was the receptionist, not all of them but there was one lady who is i think need some more training regarding how to talk with a guest, she should know how to handle a guest in any situation because she represent the hotel..this is a very small problem i had but all in all we are happy staying in Hotel Lindenhof...

- The city has the feeling of having fallen on hard times,...
- The city has the feeling of having fallen on hard times, with lots of derelict properties, few hotels and even fewer restaurants.
- The train station (unusually for Germany) is especially desperate, and offers NO luggage storage facilities.
- Beware that some of the sites (and the tourist office) close early, even on holidays and weekends.
- The museums (especially the Herogliches museum) are well worth the visit, but the churches are often closed.
From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were captivated by the hotel's charm and elegance. The attention to detail in the decoration and design truly reflected the luxurious nature of the hotel. The staff was exceptional in every aspect. The breakfast experience was absolutely delightful, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day on a high note. The hotel’s prime location added an extra layer of allure to the stay.
The apartment was furnished and done up very tastefully, the bed was very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. There was a big smart TV in the room which could be connected to Netflix etc.
The location was fantastic with just a minute to the next tram station and 5 minutes to the city centre.
I didn't need it but there is parking available. The host was very friendly.
The pension is very nice. There are only 4 rooms so it is quite. You can order breakfast as downstairs there is a restaurant and a coffee place. We arrived during the Easter holidays and even with the restaurant fully booked it was not that loud. The location is very close to Gotha city center.
Very nice comfy Hotel in the centre of Gotha with less than 5 minutes walking distance to downtown and the castle. The staff was super friendly. And I can also recommend the Hotel restaurant serving local and typical thuringian food but in a modern way.
