Definitely visit Schloss Rastatt.
Definitely visit Schloss Rastatt. We had a private tour with a very good, knowledgeable guide. Schloss Rastatt Favorite is also a must see. You could use Rastatt as a base to explore the surrounding area...Baden-Baden, Schwarzwald etc. We had a great meal at Lehners Wirtshaus. Reasonably priced, delicious German food and beer. I think Rastatt could be a hidden gem. There is scope for them to add more furniture and decoration to the palace and realty market that. The area around the palace and gardens is really nice and could be marketed as an upmarket "couples" destination.

The host is very friendly and made to us a smooth check in. He provided to us a cot for the baby and a cover to him. There a lot of facilities in the hotel, in the basement there is the a kitchen that has all kind of equipment needed. That was very practical.
