We came to Rosenheim to visit family, but it is a charming small city with quaint city center and lovely surrounding countryside. We enjoyed the walking trails along the river within sight of the alps. We enjoyed local festivals and good food. We used it as a launching point to visit Munich and Oberammergau, Germany; Vienna and Kufstein, Austria; and Florence/Tuscany, Italy by train.

    Only stayed one night.

Only stayed one night. It is a good hotel, with a restaurant serving local dishes and big pints of beer (if you are so inclined) :-) We enjoyed our stay and can recommend this hotel as an "etappe* for driving to the skiing slopes in Austria. In summer apparently one is not too far away from a huge lake, so I can imagine that must be quite nice as well. Internet could have been better. It was rather weak in the ground room where we were staying. The lighting also was of the "indirect" kind and was a bit gloomy, but otherwise everything was correct and the room was HUGE :-) We'll definitely stay there again.

    Visiting in winter.

Visiting in winter. Not much to do and everything closes quite early. We also travlled without a car and had to rely on PT, busses end early on weekend and a bit hard to do much. There is a shopping centre and a cinema but not any museums or sightseeing in the town. Food is good and cheap and there is some shopping. If you are coming especially for a Europe trip, I would skip Rosenheim as there are more exciting destinantions.

I had a wonderful time exploring again as it was 29 years since my last visit. The only person who didn't help was the Male staff in ticket office in Rosenheim train station when we wanted tickets to munich. If I could go again I'd be there tomorrow

Rosenheim is a nice city with interesting gastronomy, a nice city center and very good local brewery (Auerbräu). One could also have beautiful visits in the nearby region to close by lakes and the bavarian alps.

The hotel is very well-located in central Rosenheim, a lovely mid-sized city half-way between Munich and Salzburg. My room was a comfortable single-occupancy room with the odd addition of a separate, private bathroom two doors and about 10 yards (or meters) away from the bedroom operated with the same key. The breakfast was well worth the 12 euros extra as the room was a great value. Many sights and lots of dining options nearby.

Stayed 2 nights when visiting Munich. 10 min walk from train station, facilities nice/clean, adequate space, front desk staff pleasant and helpful. Private bathroom and shower ok, didn't buy breakfast but looked popular with other guests. Originally chose this hotel/location for price compared to Munich and when planning to also visit Schloss Herrenchiemsee (had to cancel that... ran out of time).

What an absolutely fabulous building. we do enjoyed the small hotel that was a monastery. The Rooms were beautifully decorated in simple style, but were comfortable and inviting. The Bathrooms and toiletries were lovely and great attention to detail in this area. The Dinner in the Dining room was excellent. We even had the good old Italian family altercation which had everyone laughing.

The hotel is in a central location next to a parking garage. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great breakfast! After checking out we wanted to shop a little more in Rosenheim. The hotel checked our bag in a room behind the desk while we were exploring, and we collected our bag before leaving town. We appreciate how they accommodated us.

We could not have asked for a better stay for needing to be here for work. It was spacious, comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped. The location was rather hard to ensure we were in the right place when we arrive at night, but it is wonderfully quiet. We will definitely be booking again whenever we need to return to Rosenheim!

Large rooms, great breakfast, nice little beer garden. We stayed one night on our way driving to Italy, perfect place for stop over, free parking outside hotel (very safe!). We went to Rosenheim for a nice dinner, go to Max Josefs Platz, lots of restaurants, exactly what you want after a day on autobahn.

Stayed here on a cycling trip, and the hotel was super bike friendly, with a locked garage. Hotel was a great 19th century building with nicely updated rooms. Especially liked the tall ceilings and the location.
