A lovely small hotel outside of Quito with wonderful staff, especially Karina. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her and how helpful she was planning our stay and her flexibility with our last minute changes. The rooms are charming and comfortable.
The owners of the hotel have spent years improving their land and making it a home not only for humans but for dozens of bird species.

The grounds are immaculately kept and they even had real polo games going on when we stayed! The menu at La Palma was very good, especially the Ecuadorian food (unsurprisingly) and the pizza (quite surprisingly!). Our bartender Diego also did a great job -- definitely try the frozen drinks and cocktails. The feel was incredibly authentic and made for a wonderful stay, we were welcomed and will definitely return next time we are in Quito!GuileB351United States of America

We had a last-minute change in travel plans and booked a night here rather than one of the airport hotels. We'd had a super stressful day traveling to Quito but the stress dissipated the minute we arrived here. The short time we had, we really enjoyed the beautiful grounds, bird and flower filled trails and our quick, tasty breakfast. If I'm ever in Quito again, I'll stay longer! The grounds are beautiful with so many places to explore or to just sit and relax. The staff were amazing - friendly, helpful and great to deal with. We ate dinner at the restaurant and had a fabulous meal. We only had a few hours (arrived in the afternoon, left early in the morning) but were so glad we choose to stay here for our last night in Ecuador.

Their is a tinny downtown area 5 min walk from the hotel that is cute. The hotel is 20 min from the airport but they provide 24hr shuttle service.
