A small town which advertises itself as a place with...
A small town which advertises itself as a place with historic rail links. Sadly, it seems to be the roads which have had more impact and we felt that the centre of town had been largely denuded of restaurants; the ones we used were on the western edge of town, towards the bus station. The town prides itself on being the birthplace of Cervantes, but was there a postcard to be found? No.

A bit run down but wonderful church and a nice shopping area. Bars and restaurants were still closed at 8.30pm on a Tuesday night and locals all seemed to be in 1 bar that was open on the plaza Ok for a 1 night stop off

The location was quite good, but not in the centre which meant it was pretty quiet at night. The lady in reception was warm, friendly and made us feel welcome. All the facilities in the room were adequate and there were plenty of complimentary toiletries. The breakfast was basic, but satisfying.

The hotel is built in a very old building with very interesting features left from the time was religious building. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Everything about the hotel was perfect. The patio with pool was a wonderful space. Breakfast was beautiful and the staff were very helpful . Alcazar is a lovely small town. I would highly recommend both this hotel and the town.
