Absolutely lovely stay. The staff were so kind to me and my children, made us feel so welcome. We had dinner after a long drive which was perfect, a beautiful meaty stew and chips. Breakfast was super, warm bread, hot chocolate and a lemon cake. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, lovely location, peaceful garden, easy to find and park. Wonderful.
A beautiful small town right on the Camino de Santiago.
A beautiful small town right on the Camino de Santiago. Full of character, lots of charming architecture, a delightful bakery with breakfast/coffee facilities and friendly staff. Also an hostel El Apostel in the plaza, with a kind owner who took us in late at night...highly recommended.
Everything in this nice, modern and comfortable hotel was perfect. Helena is the best recepcionist ever. So friendly and kind. With a smile on her face. He gave me and brought me on the first flor mini bar fridge full of different drinks. Wonder women. Helena, thank you very much for your smile and kindness. Breakfast was a royal one. All kind of delicious spanish products as cheeses, ham ibericos, breads and rolls and fruits.... The best hotel of all 20 hotels on my Camino since Saint Jean Pied de port. Evan from those with four stars.
We were very glad to arrive in Frómista. The room was very clean and comfortable and there was a great little electric radiator so we could regulate the temperature and also air some of our clothes. The shower also included a bath which was lovely. I was very excited when I saw a handy little clothes line above the bath, except it wasn’t fully operational. Nevertheless, it gave me the message that the management understood the walker’s need to wash out items of clothing.
Simple, traditional Spanish country hotel, typically dark rooms and furnishings but clean and well presented with a nice large bathroom and a view out over the small square. Easy to park our motorcycle on the paved area alongside the hotel and little chance of it being interfered with. Being on The Camino quite a busy little town but generally quiet. Fromista is also a handy distance from the Santander ferry for onward travel when the ferry gets in mid/late afternoon.
I was very welcomed upon checking into the hotel after a long day on El Camino. The room was spacious and clean and the breakfast the next day was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel. You can hear a little of the adjacent rooms, but this was not uncommon for many of the places I stayed in over the course of my month on El Camino. I highly recommend this hotel!
perfect location and a gem on the camino trail. Hotel has super comfy beds, organic locally made shampoo and body wash, the reflexology was heaven. breakfast was really hearty and healthy and set us up perfectly for a days walking. staff super friendly and helpful.
Central location in Fromista. Parking for our Motorbikes very close. The owner was very nice and offered us a complimentary beer. Our room was excellent with great facilities and air conditioning. Good value for money.
The hotel was right in the middle of town just across from the main cathedral and just steps away from the Camino. The room was very pleasant - and they had the nicest towels I've yet used in Spain!
We were fortunate to be put up in the brand new sister hotel just opposite the Hotel Rural San Pedro. Everything was brand new, clean, modern and in the center to bars and restaurants.
