Extremely pleasant and helpful staff.
Only complaint was wifi was not available in room ..due to distance from reception but there were solutions offered.

Northern Catalonia has many lovely small villages that are wonderful for walking around, taking a coffee at an outdoor terrace or simply strolling the cobblestone streets. Unfortunately, Peralada isn't one of them. Arrived around 2pm in search of a place to eat lunch and it seemed that the entire population in the little town had disappeared. Eerily quiet, no shops, no open restaurants. Finally found an open bar/restaurant called El Carme and it was awful. Painfully slow service with nearly inedible food. If you're in the area go to Peratallada instead, which is the exact opposite: full of life, restaurants, shops etc.

Amazing resort near the wine fields of Peralada with golf court. Beautiful minimalistic modern style perfectly integrated with classic Spanish. Delicious dinner and breakfast on the restaurant veranda. Very nice staf offers great service. And of course the wine… Not a bargain but worth every euroWouterNetherlands

The spa was perfect and even more so that your booked time slot meant you got it to yourself. Food was excellent, breakfast had varied choice of cooked or continental options, all delicious. good location and only 5 min drive or 20 minute walk to Peralada.

The hotel is a village hotel -the expectations should be accordingly- in the beautiful village. The breakfast is "custom made" and we were pleasantly surprised by what was offered.
