We stayed for 6 nights. The location was great with plenty of free parking is a private lot. We walked to the town center every day, though it is at the top of a steep hill, so probably not walkable for the disabled. It is well worth the walk-- besides the lovely views, you pass the Miraculous Fountain of St. Quitterie. Also, the inn is just a block away from the St. Quitterie church. Our hostess, Pascal, did not speak English, but we did OK with the translation app. She has a very friendly cat- but may be an issue if you have allergies. She was very welcoming with lots of good tips about things to see in the area, and we really enjoyed visiting with her and learning about the local culture. She also did some laundry for us! Our room was comfortable, with Old World charm and decor-- you really feel like you're in someone's French family home. We loved the breakfast. Pascal served us a selection of croissants, bread, cheese, yogurt, fruit and fresh-squeezed OJ, and of course great coffee. We were able to play games in the evening in the large dining room. Because of the cold weather, we couldn't take advantage of the pool/back yard, but it was lovely to look at. All in all it was a wonderful week, and met our expectations for a small town B&B infused with local culture.
Everything was great beautiful views over the river.
Everything was great beautiful views over the river. Easy to arrange a fishing permit in the town to fish the river. Most people spoke English which made communication very easy. Shops restaurants very close good service . We ate just on the start of the bridge running over the river.Dog friendly place and people nice walks in and around town.

The welcome and warm and helpful hospitality of the host Julliet. There were great facilities for drying our wet clothes and a beautiful room . Like a very up market boutique hotel. Breakfast excellent!
