Service and location excellent. Good dining room and reception area. Rooms a bit tired, the whole building needs an uplift, bathroom refitted with showers rather than bath and shower over. No opening windows on ground floor, just doors which are not secure at night.

we stayed in huge Napoleon III suite with excellent view from the top of the hill. breakfast was very good (cheeses, hamon, baguets, croissants, eggs, tee/coffee/juice etc) hosts are very friendly and helped us with local restaurants property has big horse stables building converted into bar - it looks very authentic. first floor is used as a museum where visitors can take tours (for people who are staying it is free). we visited few chateaus and this is the biggest one, located in the small town

A beautiful indipendent house within a very nice small town. Far from traffic, fuzz or noisy main roads; but still very close to access beauties&gems of the Pais de la Loire. The commodity to be at "home" with the stunning sorroundings that nothing have to envyy to italian Tuscany. Madame Cindy will make you feel welcomed and cuddled: she will be there if you will need help, she will leave you free to enjoy your trip if you are more an indipendent tourist. - By the way she makes a fantastic chocolate cake...don't be to indipendent and taste it :) - Rent a car and discover this french Shangri-La.
