Gorgeous decor, comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen.
Loved having Jacuzzi in our bedroom. The pool area was lovely and the owners dogs were fun for our son to play with.

Charming little manor. Main house is warm and inviting. Our room was decorated in toile de jouey from top to bottom, very nice and very clean, bed very comfortable. Breakfast served in conservatory was lovely, fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit and croissants and scrambled eggs are an option. The pool was closed but did seem nice and big.
This lovely residence sits quietly between the famous chateaus of Amboise and Chenonceaux.

The grounds of the hotel are truly beautiful, we really liked that the hotel was spread across multiple buildings, it made each room feel very private. There is a beautiful garden and small farm where some of the restaurants ingredients are sourced from.
Very accommodating of our dog and baby, we requested a ground floor room and given the age of our baby were very conveniently given a room tucked in the corner so we didn’t feel like we were disturbing anyone else when the baby woke in the night. There was also a small courtyard outside our room so we could enjoy a drink outside after our baby went to sleep.
Although we didn’t use it, we did see a high chair in the bar area. We didn’t see a single high chair in any French restaurant! There is also a lovely children’s play area next to the pool and the pool is warm enough for babies.
Every single member of staff was so friendly and helpful. They managed to squeeze us in at the bistro on a French public holiday, and accommodated our request to sit in the bar incase the baby was noisy. The staff were extremely helpful in helping get a same day vet appointment for us after I accidentally booked the wrong day with my limited French. We were even given some plates and cutlery to enjoy a picnic in the grounds on our last night, and were very kindly given wine on check out to remember our stay.
The pool area is really nice and the pool is warm. I liked that it was separate from the main building so no rooms would be disturbed by guests visiting the pool. We were lucky enough to be the only people at the pool area when we were there, but when we had a look while looking around the grounds it did look quite busy on one of the days.
The food is excellent, as is the wine list. We dined in the bistro one night and from the bistro menu in the bar on another. If we didn’t have a baby, we would have dined in the restaurant, but it felt a little too formal for us. We are pescatarian and found the menu sufficient.

The little town is situated between several other towns and villages making day trips accessible and easy. There are bike rentals in the next village, excellent wineries (Les Perrres d'Aurele in Montrichard and Perre Augustin in Chambesee), it's close to Amboise with it's historical castle and Leonardo D'Vinci home and more bike rentals. Neighboring villages have wonderful restaurants.
Absolutely beautiful mansion, room, lavish bathroom, beautiful grounds, and swimming pool! Delicious dinner (reservation required) in an amazing sun room with large window views into the beautiful garden! I would highly recommend staying here and look forward to returning with my parents and friends.
We had a small apartment for ourselves, with two large rooms, a modern bathroom, a living room, and a small garden in addition to the large house grounds. This is a traditional house turned hotel in Francueil, which is a small village not far from the Chenonceaux castle. It is tastefully decorated and the owners are very helpful. The breakfast is excellent, with fresh products, you can have it in the garden when the weather is good. Free parking inside the property and free Internet wifi access.
Beautiful restored character home in peaceful rural setting. Carefully renovated room providing hotel like quality. Very comfortable bed and beautiful linen. Recommendation for dinner as we were cycling, was a local ‘truck stop’, which was unbelievable both in terms of quality, staff and value! Delightful breakfast with best home made yoghurt of trip.
