Wonderful town with a magnificent abbey and cloisters. Pretty abbey square with cafes and bistro. Great shopping centre. Beautiful riverside. Would definitely recommend the Parisian restaurant on the riverside near the bridge. The hotel st philibert is an excellent hotel near the abbey.

First time we visited we thought it was wonderful so decided to stay again. This time we were a bit disappointed as it had an unkept look about it. Lovely to stroll by the river, then have an enjoyable meal and straight to bed after a long day travelling

We received a very warm welcome and the host could not do enough to make our stay more comfortable. The breakfast was also exceptional and included absolutely everything that we could have possibly wanted. Ot was easy to find and the hosts were extremely accommodating and left us a key, as we arrived outside of the opening times. The bed was very comfortable and room spotless and very spacious. Bathroom was well equipped and also spotless. There was a coffee maker, kettle and tea and coffee. Breakfast was a continental and very good.
