This beautifully renovated inn has comfy, modern rooms with air conditioning. The Mercure Thame Lambert Hotel is near junction 6 of the M40, on the borders of Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

Breakfast was great, went out of their way to make my wife some veggie sausages for breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Rooms were spacious and quiet and comfortable. Staff were lovely and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely, so much choice! Although there were lots of events, you couldn't hear them from the rooms.

Spotless accommodation. Host was super friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Beds were super comfy and towels clean and soft. Breakfast was amazing with a touch of Polish food that was delicious!! Made us feel so welcome. The added touches of fresh milk, plates and cutlery were excellent, thank you for the lovely stay

    Easy location near M40 Watlington exit... Watlington turned out to be a charming small town with some excellent small and interesting shops, especially His for Kitchens... an amazing kitchen shop where I found so many things I wanted and at excellent prices.

    Staying at Aston Rowant with my husband, 21 yo and 13 yo was perfect. Gorgeous hotel, a walk in the Chilterns on your doorstep, Thame and Oxford a short distance away. Our rooms were spacious, beautifully furnished and quiet. We appreciated other areas off the bar in the hotel we could sit and have a drink with other family members staying at the hotel. Plentiful outside seating in a large sheltered courtyard, too. Breakfast and dinner to be recommended and the staff made the experience, all so professional friendly and helpful. Cannot imagine anyone not really enjoying a stay at this hotel.
