The room was lovely and clean, as was the hotel on the whole, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice and there were options for myself as a vegetarian, although it was essentially just cereal/granola and toast but I was content with that. The location was perfect for what I needed. Parking was available.

Decent location to where we wanted to be that weekend
One of the most unique hotels in Perth, in a 15th-century watermill, where you can still watch the water trickling through the original water wheel from the garden, lobby area and Lounge Bar.

Stayed here for the location and glad we did. This historic building houses a welcoming pub and delicious breakfast. Check-in was easy and the room was clean, even in this historic building. Abernethy is a nice place to walk around. All the shops were friendly.
Bed was very comfy. Just not sure my back agrees.
Was also up in the night sweating and no way to cool down. Found a uk 3 pin socket in en-suite which was rather alarming.
No one around at 9am so just left without breakfast which had been paid for. No lift.

Host was great at communicating prior to arrival.
Host was great at communicating prior to arrival. Met us at the lodge with keys. Friendly and helpful. Very welcoming and offering any assistance required. The lodge was immaculate. Lodge also alot more spacious than I thought it would be. The location is very easy to get to (trust me I always get lost even using satnav) The host had given directions prior to arrival and found the site first time. Location is also beautiful, the views are beautiful. They have a little park area for kids and also have 2 goats and chickens which the kids can feed. My children loved the break away and there 15 & 9. It's a tranquil little place,it really is the simple things that make it a lovely lodge. Sitting on the porch area, sun shining, listening to the birds chirping away, watching the kids play whilst being surrounded by beautiful scenery. Also a co op which is 5 minutes walk from the site which is really useful if you need to buy some nessecities.
