The stay was lovely & peaceful. The host Neil was friendly and provided extra equipment for our babies. A cotbed and high chair. We will most definitely stay again when visiting our family in Yorkshire. Views, horses and seeing the sunset from our room was an extra bonus.
Very peaceful, no light pollution it was like another world.

The village is lovely, people we saw were friendly. Great pub The Old Star serves good meals at a reasonable price. The staff were run off their feet but always helpful, friendly and attentive.
I was sad to go.

We wanted somewhere quiet but central.
We wanted somewhere quiet but central. It’s close to Scarborough but not noisy. Close to Hornsea which we often visit the free port there. Also there is Sewerby Hall if you like to visit old mansions which is only a short distance. Also Hornsea pottery and John Bull rock factory where you can make your own rock. We had a lovely breakfast in Bridlington in one of the arcades. Good value for money, set us up for the day!

Driffield is a typical Yorkshire market town.
Driffield is a typical Yorkshire market town. It has everything you need to make your holiday enjoyable ie restaurants, pubs, plenty of country pubs that allow dogs, takeaways and supermarkets.
Driffield is central to all the seaside towns ie., Bridlington, Scarborough, Filey, Whitby etc., plus the cities and towns of York, Hull and Beverley. A ‘shortish’ drive to all. It’s set between the Yorkshire Moors and the Yorkshire Wolds, which are so different and both are beautiful!

Nice area with lots of places nearby to go to if you drive however we don't drive but were in Driffield mainly to catch up with friends who live there. We enjoyed wandering round the town and going in some of the small independent shops. Despite it being a small town, there are also several cafes, restaurants and a few pubs in the town.

Not much to do in Driffield itself and no restaurants apart...
Not much to do in Driffield itself and no restaurants apart from a good Fish and Chip shop. There was a chinese and indian and a few pizza places (not our taste. we like good normal food in a restaurant. There were plenty of pubs but not very inviting.

The house was stylishly decorated but managed still to be homely. It had everything we needed and more!
The hosts had given thought & time to provide special little extras - it had the feel of a boutique hotel!
It was immaculately clean and well
equipped for our Christmas stay.
We would highly recommend and hope to return.
Property had everything we needed for our night away. Owners were great to deal with before and during booking. Lots of lovely touches you’d normally only find in a hotel. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone requiring anything from 1 night to longer stays. Really does have everything you need.
What a wonderful property & location! Was ideal for our needs as family members stayed in skipsea so wasn’t too far for us to travel but could have our own little getaway! Hotels/Caravans were £80-150 more expensive! Would 100/10 recommend and will definitely be staying again!
What a find! Beautifully decorated unique hotel.
Cannot fault anything, such friendly staff, food was delicious, room was divine. Had the most enjoyable stay for my husbands birthday, will definatley be back in the Spring/summer to enjoy the lovely grounds. Highly recommend.
Quirky little hotel finished to a high standard. Lovely room and breakfast area.
The staff were lovely and were welcoming and eager to help, offering to carry ours bags down and taking the time to ask how our day had been when we came back for the evening
The property was big enough and beds comfortably, but some areas bathroom s , dishwasher smelt like never been cleaned, some touches really nice but then some cheap things used like bins , and chairs very uncomfortable and too low .
Service was excellent, Breakfast was great, Bedroom was good. Parking was ok but was difficult at times due to the gym/pool usage. To sum up the Bell is a "Querky" hotel full of character which I find interesting.
Location great
Parking 2 minutes walk away
Large room and spacious
