Everything about the property and hosts was excellent; great location with nice view from balcony; easy walking distance to restaurants and amenities. Although there was a short walk to the public car park, it was easy to load and unload from the loading bay (however there was a scaffolding can and council van using the two bays when we left).

lots of parking, nice and flat walking , loved the walk through the town up to the harbour and onto the beach, lots of restaurants mainly serving fish dishes , loved miss marples tearoom lovely sandwiches and cream teas . be careful of the seagulls !!!!!
Heating had been left on for our arrival so lovely warm lodge. A lot of effort had been made to light up the grounds for Christmas and with the peacocks wandering around and the hooting of an owl even the weather couldn’t dampen our walk around the grounds too much. We ate in the hotel restaurant on our first night, food good and friendly helpful staff. The lodge itself feels very new and there is lots of equipment in the kitchen.
This is a amazing Victorian villa converted in to nice small hotel with amazing view . If you want something special for your holiday stay and feel privileged - this place is for you. Louise gave us an interesting exibition around the house , where you can find a library , home cinema, swimming pool and many other pleasures and you
won’t want to go out to a real world .
Property is set in beautiful surroundings with views over East Looe river from our room (5).
Comfortable bed, clean and quiet throughout, excellent staff who couldn’t be more helpful and friendly like a home from home.
Would thoroughly recommend and hope to return soon.
Situated in beautiful setting-property immaculate-very welcoming -the hosts were very attentive but not intrusive-staying there has completed ‘raised the bar’ in terms of what a hotel should strive for-we are hoping to return soon for another relaxing break
Beautiful atmospheric property with large comfortable rooms. Lovely staff and the owners Simon and Louise felt like friends and very welcoming.
short walk in to town so can leave the car in the hotel car park.
