Superb location alongside Clifton Village's delights and in historic Victoria Square. We were given a great room with a good view. The staff are helpful and good carparking provision.

Awesome main lodge house, beautiful decor, comfy bed, wonderful bathroom. Lovely, well-kept grounds/garden. Dinner was delicious (fish & chips) didn't have breakfast. Would definitely stay again!

Just love this place. Beautiful rooms. Great staff.

The hotel shouldn't describe itself as having a free car park. There are only a few spaces so you have to put your car in the service station, which is not free for overnight parking and doesn't feel like a safe space to leave a car overnight (especially with luggage in it, if you're hoping to to go to the airport next day).
The outside of the hotel is unwelcoming and you have to wander through a cloud of vape smoke to get to the entrance, where you'll have to find someone at the bar to ask questions. They weren't particularly helpful, but to be fair there's not much they can do about the hotel being terrible.
We were so unhappy with it that we left and went to stay somewhere else for the night. If the rooms were cheap, you'd chalk this up to experience, but for £100 per night this is really appalling, I'd never book this place again and wouldn't have booked it in the first place if I'd known what it would be like.

As other travelers have mentioned there is a foul drainage / damp smell in some of the rooms. The main light in the bedroom didn’t work and the double bed we were allocated ( had paid and booked for a family twin room) only had 2 pillow so had to go to night reception to get another. Directions to the hotel from the motorway junction were very poor and not enough parking and ended up parking in overflow and lorry parking area which was poorly lit at 2 am in the morning having just arrived from very delayed flight and bad waiting experience for passport control and our luggage at Bristol airport . On positive thing I can say was the very helpful and polite night staff who was a credit to the hotel.

We ate at Burger King.
We ate at Burger King. This was a strange experience as we have not eaten at this place for decades and it was touch screen ordering. this proved difficult. It would onyl let you order one itme at once and everyone ended up with lots of tickets. Silly way to order. What I thought were additional extras were not. How was I to know that "patty" was the burger?! I selected to remove "patty" form my cheeseburger and also what appeared to be extra cheese - consequently I got a burger-free, cheese-free burger for the same price as a cheeseburger! They did give me a burger when we said we'd cacelled items in error. How would you know a burger is referred to as a patty? It's not called Patty King!!!!!

Great location! Comfortable room, great sleep!
Great location! Comfortable room, great sleep! Only criticism is needed a larger towel rail - as there was three of us and only space for one towel on the existing towel rail!
We visited Weston Super Mare the first day which was only 35 minutes from the hotel!
The second day we visited friends in Pontypool South Wales! This journey was only 45 minutes from the hotel!
We had breakfast all three mornings at the on-site restaurant - very filling buffet style breakfast! Great value! Our dog was able to sit with us aswell!

The bed was comfortable but the sheets were damp.
The bed was comfortable but the sheets were damp. The location is good, right on Jnc 19 of the M5. But the hotel is awful. One handtowel for 2 people for 3 days. Only half a toilet roll. The loo seat didn't fit the bowel. No soap in the dispenser. The carpet had a great many nasty stains on it, The paint work was chipped and dirty. The sink bowel was so small I couldn't even wash my hands in it. The food was tasteless and covered in grease. The price was extortionate for the facilities. I'd never stay there again - it is awful.

I thought I'd booked a double and single bed so it was a pleasant surprise for my children that there was a trundle bed so they could have a bed each and so could I. Breakfast was nice - buffet with plenty of options. Excellent location and on-site restaurant if you didn't want to make the short walk around to the services for a meal there. The hotel was quiet in that there wasn't road noise etc. Clean and modern looking. My kids rated it 4/5.
Having stayed in hotels previously, I found the hotel excellent, having arrived late on the back on an RAC truck after breaking down on the motorway, I was ready for sleep, and had no problem once the RAC had been dispatched, I am not one for air conditioning, but this never bothered me, quiet as well until they started unloading trucks etc outside our room.
I was surprised at how good a Motorway Service Hotel could be. I’m walking the End 2 End route and it was the only place available for that day around the area. In hindsight I’m pleased that that was the case, because it was so good. The staff were very good and an especial mention to Lucy one of the receptionists who was amazing.
Good restaurant on site rather than having to go to the general food/retail area of the motorway services. Menu was small but adequate. Excellent, helpful staff. No silliness if we wanted more milk in the room for our drinks made there - provided immediately - very unusual in this type of stopover hotel.
Convenient for Motorway.
Comfortable beds
Clean-ish (some bleach staining on carpets)
Cold to start but heaters are very good
Staff helpful, no issues with booking
Good value compared to other Bristol hotels
This really is "cheap and cheerful"
Ramada rebrand adds a little more class than Days Inn
Good stop over place at good price. Must mention a staff member, purple hair, receptionist, did the bar, sorted an electrical trip in the room. Accommodating, noticed her sorting others guests queries out too, total credit to the hotel. She needs some sort of promotion/recognition
Property was well located for visiting Bristol and was reasonably priced. The hotel staff were also very helpful and dealt with any issues quickly and without any fuss. The hotel room was also surprisingly quiet, bearing in mind it is next to a main road and service station.
Chef refused to do crossants because he dosnt like the smell.
Cooked breakfast was average.
Room was comfortable.
Recieved a parking fine for parking at the hotel.
