A lovely place full of history unfortunately not many shops were open which was a let down. And some of the hotels like ours only did evening meals at weekends and the bar was not opened in the evenings our visi6was mid week. So I would avoid these times

Haworth is a lovely little village, very quiet and very clean. The park is lovely and even had little stalls in there on the Sunday. It is hilly so if have mobility problems take this into consideration.
Take a trip to the train station and watch the steam trains or even take a ride!

Haworth is a wonderful place, quaint and full of history.
Haworth is a wonderful place, quaint and full of history. There are restaurants and pubs to suit all tastes and lots of little independent retailers selling a variety of goods. Central Park is a beautiful place just to go and sit and admire the views of the surrounding countryside and is often the venue for artisan markets and music events.

Haworth Main Street is a wonderful place to amble and check out some very interesting shops abd nice coffee shops .
At yhe top is the wonderful parish church with exquisite stained glass windows .
The church is built on the graves of the Brontes.
Behind the church is the parsonage, famous home to the literary Bronte Family and an absolute must to visit. ( Open at weekends only in the Winter months and easy to book in advance online)
Beyond the parsonage , a lovely path leads up onto the moors and a variety of walks for all abilities.Plenty maps available to check out length and difficulty of walks.
Haworth Railway Station is well worth a visit too with regular steam trains .
Oakworth Railway Station of the famous " Railway Children" is just one mile away and also worth a visit.
We ate at Haworth Old Hall Inn and had a great meal , in a nice setting for a very reasonable price.
We also ate at the Buffet Car Café opposite Haworth Station - great breakfast , and reasonably priced. Really good coffee.
Theres a small wholefood café/shop next to the Old Post Office at the top of the Main Street - definitely worth a vist and a good browse as lots of delights await in there.
Definitely going to return as I want to explore the walking more, though Haworth itself is "hilly" so might be tricky getting around if you have mobility issues.

Haworth is full of stunning country walks which are all easily sign posted, Depending if you want to do a short walk or be a little more adventurous and head miles out. The Bronte falls & top withens is a must, if you manage it. The independent cafes and shops that line the lane are simply beautiful, which adds to the unique character of this place.
The hotel is full of character and antique details. I love staying in hotels with character and this one has loads. The staff are welcoming and helpful, The room was clean and comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed.
Its location is right in the middle of Haworth close to all the shops and local pubs, only a short walk and you are right in the middle of Brontë country!
We ate in the restaurant one of the nights we stayed and the food was excellent, would love to stay again if I was ever visiting the area.
Perfectly situated on Main Street & so within easy walking distance of the shops, pubs, cafes,Bronte Parsonage museum, church & bus stops. Very welcoming & friendly hosts. Clean & comfy room with fantastic views of Haworth & The Yorkshire Moors. Breakfast was enjoyable with more lovely views & photos from The Railway Children film on the wall along with Bronte related prints. I will stay here again for sure.
Great hosts, location (next door to the Brontë Museum), beautiful decor, and delicious and generous breakfasts. Very well run hotel. The owner made dinner reservations for our 2 night stay and provided great information (a map and written directions) for a beautiful and memorable English countryside walk in the moors to the Brontë waterfall and Top Withens site. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
The house was cosy, peaceful and had everything we needed to enjoy our two night stay. The location of the house makes it a perfect place to stay and to explore the delights of Haworth and is about a five minute walk to Main Street. The owner of the house was quick to respond to any messages that I sent to her and was friendly and very informative about places to visit on our trip.
A lovely, cosy, characterful cottage in a perfect, central location for Haworth Main Street, yet very quiet.Free, very nearby parking is a bonus, as is the lovely terraced garden, which would be ideal in the Summer. The owners were extremely helpful in their communication and a large, homemade cake was awaiting our arrival. We would love to return.
We loved our stay! We had the “Emily” room and it was great - it literally overlooks the graveyard of Haworth Church! Perfect for any Brontë fan. Breakfast was delicious and the staff incredibly kind and helpful. The Black Bull Inn is in the best location - right on Haworth’s Main Street!
Would definitely stay here again.
Excellent food: breakfast was fantastic and included in the price. Great selection (choices). It was not a buffet, but served to your table. Dinner was wonderful.
Take the steam train from Keighley (main rail line transfer). It stops maybe 200 meters from the hotel. It's the closest hotel that is also in the old town.
The Ashmount is a beautiful boutique hotel, perfectly situated for Haworth and visiting the Brontë parsonage. The Dispensary (the room we stayed in) was perfect for us and had a lovely view over the very pretty garden and the countryside.
I really loved the location. It was right on the main street with a birds eye view to everything going on. It allowed me to visit all the great places, walk around, and stop off for some rest easily.
We liked the location on the beautiful Haworth Main Street. The staff were friendly and there were no hitches throughout our stay. We stayed in single rooms which were warm and comfortable.
