The location was perfect for our trip down to the Harry Potter studio tour. Just a 15 minute drive away and in a quiet rural spot.
The main room was stunning and very spacious.
The hosts are really friendly and made sure we knew where everything was.
There's also a lovely outdoor area but sadly we didn't get to use it because of the cold weather. Would definitely recommend.

Size and cleanliness of property
The staff are so helpful. It’s easy to get to - perfect for Harry Potter world. There seemed to be a few other attractions near by too.
The pool and gym were a little shabby but the kids loved it and it was a great way to tire them out.
The breakfast was great and at the other end of the day the bar was comfy, inviting and well stocked.

I thought this place was perfect for us. We met our grandchildren there and they loved the pool.
The evening menu was great for adults, unfortunately the children didn’t like anything but that’s not saying it was good. Picky eaters!

The accommodation was a very high standard and the host were very helpful. We needed to check in early to attend a family function and the hosts were more than willing for us to do so.Everthing was made easy for us and although the host was available to us we were given privacy .The only problem we encountered was the m25 which had lane closures but we soon overcame that

The staff were lovely. Really helpful.
The staff were lovely. Really helpful. Put surprise birthday card and sweets in the room foe my son, which he loved. The room was tiny. Just enough space to walk between the double bed and the sofa bed. Bothe mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. Breakfast was basic and not much choice. We got there at around 9 and some stuff had run out and without asking wouldn't of been refilled.

We can’t really comment on Hemel Hempstead itself as we were there to catch up with relatives and only had two days and the weather was dreadful so we didn’t get to see much! But the people we met were friendly and helpful

It was clean and the in room amenities were good, shower pressure was disappointing, pull out bed had 2 duvets on top of the mattress but it was still uncomfortable, main bed was ok for 1 night- spare room level of comfort, not main room or luxury like the "purple" hotels. Breakfast choices were good and the option to take away was good too. There is the option for an evening meal even though the website says there isn't, but the Fullers right next door is a better option.

Main areas of hotel very nice. Furniture looked a little tired tho. Bedroom was quite outdated. Sofa bed was very un comfortable. Main bed was very small. Not much space in room with the sofa bed out. Bedroom looked very tired. Bathroom was well done tho.
Pool was good. Staff were very helpful. Location was great for what we needed. Our dinner took along time to come out tho. Breakfast was delicious and a good range.
Ideally located for trip to central london or Warner bros studio. Plenty of parking. Comfortable clean and cost efficient stay. Lovely weekend with family - we were a party of 6 , 3 kids and 1 elderly granny. We took taxi to central london and Studio was 10-15 minutes drive from hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Same for the adjacent pub with scenic view- very friendly helpful staff.
I like the thought they put into equipping and decorating the place. It gave a homely feel, was very clean and the bed was exceptionally comfy for me. Even though it is located right in the centre of Hemel Hempstead I had a very good sleep. Much better sleep than in any hotel really. So all was really good..
Lovely area and Boxmoor Lodge is a hidden gem, lovely decorated rooms, lots of extras inside with trouser pressure, iron and iron board in room. Spent 3 days and very comfortable and warm. Breakfast is a must, very good quality and service. Less than 10 minute walk to Hemel Hempstead railway station.
Beautiful, freshly renovated space. The host was kind enough to let us check in quite late and set up the sofa bed ahead of time. The sofa bed also had a cushioned extra topper which was nice. Very comfortable flat, quite a good deal compared to other rentals and hotels in the area.
loved the character of the rooms much better than the impersonal chain hotels. had the best nights sleep I’ve had in a long time. Breakfast was yummy and the staff exceptionally helpful. will definitely stay here again.
The room was clean and the additional bed was made. Staff were helpful when asked for something. The hotel is in an area where there are a good number of restaurants and shops. Breakfast choices were adequate
One of the nicest place we have stayed during our 3 weeks Europe trip. Compare to many other hotel/apt we stayed, Adobebed at Handleys Court is one of the best accommodation.
late night staff was amazing, he helped and tried all his best to make sure that everything is okay. Large parking area. gas station is also nearby. good value for money
On arrival staff were pleasant and the reception area is nicely laid out . We didn't eat at the hotel so cannot comment on food but the dining room look very nice .
Treated very well and hosts where superb. we will using this hotel again as we have future work in the area and it has proven to be excellent value for money.
The rooms were a nice size. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The area was quiet and nice. Everything was well stocked with clean dishes and towels.
