Perfect location, excellent soundproofing, especially for an airport hotel.
The evening meal at Le Petit Reveur was excellent, full marks to our waiter, Yogi and the chef Sammiye for working around my dietary restrictions.
Excellent breakfast too.

The Wetherspoon pub was in the centre of town a 20 min walk from my accommodation which was at the middle distance between the town and the airport. People appeared friendly but as a transient resident I got ripped off by the locals. The tapas restaurant was open for customers but the cider was so sweet I could not drink it and I was told it was Spanish which I frankly doubt as I was not shown any label and the drink was pored for me without my getting to see it. I'll avoid the tapas bar the next time I need to visit the city prior to going on holiday or when I need to stay overnight on my return from holiday.

There was a great pub called 6 bells. The staff were lovely and Wayne the proprietor really looked after me as did all the staff. The food I had was excellent. The pub itself is unofficially the 2nd oldest pub in England. It was easy to walk to from The Corner House.

Very comfortable rooms, friendly efficient staff, good choice of restaurants in the evening with lovely food. Breakfast could improve as while everything is well laid out with plenty of choice the food is not being kept hot enough and is quite cold by the time you take it back to your table which is a shame as it’s good quality food. It was the same for both visits.

Travelers should be warned there there are steep steps to get to the room (unless you book the downstairs room). This was a huge surprise and problem for us as we had a lot of heavy baggage and it could not be left downstairs.

Horley is a fairly safe town to spend the night before/after a flight. It has nice food shops & cafes. Near to Gatwick but not noisy. Quiet, pleasant. A bus ride to Crawley, an easy train to London. Not overpriced.
Best place is the 8 Bells (or is it 6 Bells?!) down a residential road just off the main road & by the parish church - lovely! - its a delightful oldy-worldy country gastro pub on the doorstep, which is well-known for great food & atmosphere.
People usually find Horley pleasant... you can safely walk around & there is a Lidl & Waitrose within walking distance (in the centre)... The local Wetherspoons does a good cheap breakfast. (Later, the fish & chips/burger are ok, so ok for cheap filling food. Be warned, though, the manager could do with some improvement!)
Horley is great for overnight stays, before moving on!

Manchester was my Favorite place, i eat mostly breakfast at the hotel,
it was ok getting around Horly as my stay there was not long, my next visit is avoid going to the all season guess house in Gatwick,
Lovely staff at a nice little hotel convenient to Gatwick and perfect for a layover. The room was a nice size, bed very comfortable with nice linens, bathroom was compact but good shower and nice towels with a warm towel rack. The hotel has a nice lounge area and dining room and the staff are incredibly friendly. The front desk made check in and out super easy and quick and the shuttle at all hours for insanely early flights was a huge help! Highly recommend.
This is an airport hotel but seemed rather better than others we have used in terms of value for facilities. Gatwick has several but they are more expensive.
This does the job and is a short walk from the check in. We even left our luggage the night before so had less stress and just walked to the plane!
Breakfast was a good surprise - plenty to eat and some treats in a clean area, constantly replenished.
Greta location for those taking an early flight from Gatwick. The hotel is around 10 min away on foot from the train station.
After having an issue with our shower, the owner offered himself to give us a lift to the airport early in the morning, waking up specifically for that. Very kind, mindful and caring. They keep the hotel clean and comfortable. The area is very quiet, and comfortable beds.
Located in the Gatwick airport, this is a great hotel if you are leaving or coming to London and you need a place to rest while waiting for your airplane or after a long flight.
The room and the bathroom were very clean and the staff was nice and friendly.
The internet was good and we also had a big TV in the room.
They also offer free complimentary hot drinks which was great.
Best place to stay near Gatwick Airport. Just few minutes away from Airport by train or car or Hotel shuttle.Much cheaper and comfortable as airport Hotels and in best environment . Nothing disturbed our night sleep . Breakfast very good for such price . Bed comfortable. We will certainly come back for next travel via Gatwick
Reception and staff were excellent and very helpful. Room facilities very good and double bed very comfy had a good nights sleep before our early flight in the morning. And very near Gatwick airport only a 5 minute drive. Had used this hotel before and will use this again. Definitely recommend to family and friends.
Location, food, rooms and helpful staff. Rooms are completely acceptable for a airport hotel. Food courts at Gatwick departure hall are poor, so eat at the cafe bar.
Parking at departures hall is OK, but there is valet parking, but how to use it?
Comfy room and welcoming staff. Very good location for Gatwick Airport, the hotel is a 10 minuet walk from Horley train station which then from there the train to the airport 2 mins.
Hotel staff were very nice from check-in to restaurant staff. Room was spacious and well-appointed. Great place to stay when having connecting flights at Gatwick.
Very n8ce, friendly, clean, well furnished hotel with nice bathroom. Short walk from Horley Station and bus stop over road for bus to Gatwick.terminals.
