A very nice Inn with a great restaurant and pub. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and clean. Staff we very friendly and accommodating. Location is less than 5 mins from the ferry terminal to cross to/from Mallaig. Lots of free parking.

It's potentially a lovely hotel. However, this is not 'luxury' accommodation as advertised. I would say it's more of a Premier Inn set up. We had to go find someone for reception and there is no lounge or bar for guests. Booking the restaurant as a guest ..... we were made to feel like it was a favour to book for a 5pm slot. Food was mediocre at best and over-priced. Breakfast was ok and lovely young woman on duty. We booked a top class room with a sea view - £280. It was in the attic with a tiny window with limited view to the sea. No warning of two flights of steep, shallow stairs. Luxury? Ikea type set up, with large containers of green 'stuff' that is passed off as toiletries. A matter of taste, but what was an old Manse and Church has had the heart ripped out of it. No remnants if it's history or culture.

The breakfast was a small continental breakfast provided in the room. It was OK but expected more given the price of the room.

Cute property in a nice location and close to amenities like coop and some shops. Lovely walk along the waterfront. Clean and good use of very small space. Quite cosy.

This is a fairly remote location with spectacular scenery, both at the hotel and close by. Apart from nature (and the great food and drink in the hotel) there is not a lot to do. So relaxing is part of the power of the place. Wander around and watch the odd fisherman leave the quay and go out to their fishing boat. Watch the water and sky change at a moments notice. We were there in February so the whole area was relatively quiet, touring the island was easy from there.

Fresh air, views outstanding, people very friendly.
Fresh air, views outstanding, people very friendly. Peacefulness. We did struggle a little finding somewhere to eat after 7pm as we are not great fish eaters or meat eaters, apart from that I would love to go back again with my hiking shoes.
We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. We loved every bit of it, from the service on down to the food. We appreciated the ambiance, especially at dinner time. The music was serene and fitting for the room. I think one of our favorites about the property was the setting~~> the dock and the lake and the peace and quiet. Our room was quaint and had a homey feel from the past.
Loved the location with a view of the lighthouse. it’s a small hotel on Sleat, the. Southern end of the Isle of Skye and we enjoyed our stay here. Breakfast was great. The hotel has an art gallery and store next to it. There is a pier in front of the hotel with benches where people can sit and enjoy the view. it has a nice old world charm to it.
We had a lovely time at Duisdale House! The hotel is gorgeous, our room was very comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful and the food was excellent!
Honestly, the food at Duisdale House was the highlight of our stay. Dinner was pricey, but absolutely worth every penny. The raspberry soufflé was drop-dead delicious.
A marvellous hotel in a beautiful location. Just a wee bit more expensive than I’d prefer to have paid. Decent bar and food prices but with difficulties in hiring staff due to Brexit, I can see how prices might have to keep pace. The location is idyllic. The bar is wonderful and staff are friendly and efficient.
The entire experience was quite exceptional. The staff were most welcoming and helpful, the service and the food at dinner and breakfast was first class. We would be more than happy to return to this hotel, or indeed, others owned by this group.
staff were excellent and made the stay very enjoyable. food was fantastic and the chef was able to make things that weren’t on the menu to cater for a vegan and a vegetarian. views from the hotel are also amazing. I would definitely recommend.
The hotel was absolutely stunning, beautifully situated with lovely views. The rooms were very clean and quaint, perfectly in keeping with the hotel and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious!
It was unpretentious with a charming staff who obviously enjoyed working in this very special environment. Although it was midwinter, the hotel was warm and comfortable. The sea views are exceptional.
Staff was super friendly and food was excellent. Hotel was beautiful and directly across from one of the most scenic spots on Skye. Stay was super luxurious-like, very gorgeous property.
The best Hotel on the island... incredible staff. Very warm, cosy, contemporary. Clean and the food superb - worthy of a london restuarant and 3x the price I cannot fault it in any way!
The property is lovely, the staff was great and the food also was quite nice. Overall a very nice hotel ... Also a lovely complementary whiskey in the delux room which we appreciated
Superb location, lovely clean hotel with such homeliness. Don't go if you rely in TV - there isn't any - but sit and enjoy the ambiance of the hotel and peaceful surrounds.
The hotel is located in a beautiful, quiet spot overlooking the water. The staff is super friendly and willing to help. The rooms are spacious comfortable and clean.
