The staff, especially Josh who was friendly, attentive and couldn’t do enough for us or any other customers we saw him interact with. Its location, which is great for getting around. The owners /management were very friendly and helpful. We were able to get a go breakfast even though we missed the time during the breakfast window that the kitchen stayed open. The smallness of the hotel made for a unique stay.

A very welcoming host Saul. Great location in Harlech, for beach, golf, castle etc. Rooms decorated to very high spec. A good night's sleep! Big TV in our room and we watched some iPlayer. Access to host's kitchen too. Would recommend and hopefully stay here again. The dog Link was friendly too!

Delightful accommodation in peaceful surroundings enabled us to have a wonderful break in Barmouth. We stopped in Penty Mochyn for a week in mid-January, and had a great time. We were provided with informative correspondence prior to our arrival by our hosts Jan & Mick, who were genuinely friendly and welcoming. They were so helpful with advice on local amenities and places to visit - including the shortcut directly to the beach! Our holiday barn was first-class, spotlessly clean, modern and relaxing; the view out to the sea was superb. We enjoyed an excellent holiday and Penty Mochyn is definitely highly recommended!
