I rented two rooms and one of the rooms the electrical did not work which included the lamp sockets and the TV. All the property did was say they were sorry but that’s how it goes tough luck.

The staff make this hotel, they went above and beyond to meet our needs. The room was nice, very clean and comfortable. Location was ideal for our needs and the WiFi actually works considering the location.

Newton Brewery Inn was just a short walk from the town centre and supermarket as well as being next to the river, so for my trip this was a great location.

Loved the place it was OK for our stay and we could compare both rooms one was bijou and modern for our daughters and ours a large family suite. You could hear the road traffic but I can sleep on a washing line so it didn't affect any of us. The staff were so helpful and happy in their work.

I didn't really see much of Middlewich as I had an itinerary in Nantwich already organised. You will need transport to see any of the local sights, although I suspect there could be lots of local walks (but I haven't confirmed this).

Middlewich is quite a picturesque town with some pretty buildings and good walking along the canal; it also boasts good supermarkets and other facilities.
It's a short drive from tourist attractions such as Chester city centre, Chester zoo, Beeston Castle, Northwich and the Anderton Boat Lift, so a good base from which to explore Cheshire.
We booked bed and breakfast for 3 nights. The first night there was a roudy party which went on until 2 am in a nearby room, we had difficulty rousing the proprietor to assist in ending this. In the morning we were told there was no breakfast available due to "the chef being ill". No offer of a refund in this respect was offered although we did ask for one which has never been received. We moved to another hotel for the third night.
I didn't have any breakfast with my room, as I had other plans, such as eating out. There was a karaoke evening on the Friday night. I understand that a karaoke evening is held every Friday night in the pub. I was in the Middlewich area for a brother's funeral. The landlady was very pleasant.
Very pretty location with nice garden to chill in after a long drive. Caroline and Clive were incredibly helpful and great hosts. Breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day. Would go again if we are in the area, much nicer than sterile hotel chains you find dotted around.
Nice Hotel and Pub combination, located well for my travel agenda. Staff was very kind, fun and helpful.
Enjoyed typical food and a nice breakfast. A minor issue mailing my invoice out was sorted out the very morning.
Love this place just off the motorway on the edge of Middlewich, staff always friendly and the rooms are well maintained clean and functionally. A favourite stop on the long haul trips I make with work.
The room was nice and clean. The bathroom was really easy and nice to use.
The TV worked surprisingly well, other hotels have TV's that don't work as well.
The tea and coffee were a nice touch.
Breakfast was in the car park. Facilities were none existent, other occupants talking all night, difficult to find as it’s called something other than the advertised hotel.
Breakfast was very nice with lots of choice.
Easy to find and convenient for our reasons for visiting.
Lots of space inside and outside the hotel was appreciated
