The hotel staff were welcoming and helpful. They offered to help carry our bags and showed us to our room. Continental breakfast was included in our price. It included some vegan/vegetarian options which was convenient. There is also a spacious garden space to enjoy drinks at the property.

We had a lovely stay in the house. Very clean and cosy with comfortable beds. The owners are very nice people and left us a bottle of fizz and milk. Very attractive historic town, with plenty of shops and restaurants. Attractive harbour. Good location for exploring East Kent (Isle of Thanet in particular). We visited local English Heritage sites (Richborough, Deal, Walmer) and did a tour of the Ramsgate Tunnels (all worthwhile). Ramsgate is a mixed bag. Sea front, marina and harbour are lovely, with some fantastic restaurants and coffee shops. The town is quite rundown.
