The Wheatsheaf is in a quiet area with plenty of parking.The bedroom was very nicely decorated,comfortable and clean with a lovely onsuite. We ate in the restaurant on the evening we were staying and the food was very good. Breakfast choice was very good, we had the Full English and it was amazing, I would say the best quality I have ever eaten and I’ve had a good few. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would 100% stay again when in the area.

we arrived on a saturday at 1pm hungry after a long journey . Only to be told the chef was not here a breakfast was provided by reception (nice). Room was dated bathroom had problems. Holes in wall water ( soil waste) damge toilet seat was yellow underneath too old. Carpets were heavily stained and need replaceing. Bar closed at 9pm ! Staff were nice and polite and helpful.
