My two preteen daughters and I spent a glorious week at this lovely holiday home. The house was perfect for us with two bedrooms, of which one had two very comfortable beds. WIFI was decent, but did drop out every so often. Can walk to beach in about 20 minutes, and 15 minutes to golf club where there’s a restaurant. Working farm next door where cows walk to and come back from pasture. Tv is small but Netflix ready. Kitchen is perfectly outfitted, with an essential dishwasher, and a Washer / dryer. All variety of soaps and paper were provided. Beds were very comfortable.
We really enjoyed our stay at this holiday home. We will try to return again next year!
The room was a very good size, with plenty of hanging space and open shelves for clothes etc. There are only 2 rooms, and the breakfast table was shared with the other guests, which was sociable and relaxed. Continental breakfast was all fresh and there was lots to choose from.
Sheelagh is a good host and made sure we were happy, gave us advice on where to go and so on.
There is a hotel and a pub about 10 minutes walk away, good for evening meals, and Dingle is about 20 minutes drive if you want more options.
Breege is a wonderful host. This is a really quirky place to stay within walking distance of the town of Ballyferriter. The yurt was cosy and set in beautiful nature but with all the facilities you would need just a short walk away from the yurt. I wasn't expecting breakfast as there is a self-catering kitchen, but there were lovely homemade scones and brown bread every morning along with cereal and pancakes. Thanks for a great stay Breege!
Loved every minute! The facilities were amazing! Stayed in the yurt with 2 kids (double bed, single bed & travel cot) and there was more than enough room with a little table and chairs inside, and the bed was as comfy as a hotel! Fresh scones and pancake mix made every morning by the owner, a lovely lady! Beautiful spot for kids with toys closeby and a playground across the road. Will definitely be back again! Xx
The host was very welcoming and pleasant offering refreshments on arrival. The accommodation was clean, cosy and comfortable and a short walk from Ballyferriter. Parking was available. Breakfast was a lovely change from the usual fry with plenty of home made bread, cereals, cheese, ham, fruit and good coffee or tea.
Sheelagh made our stay in Ballyferriter wonderful. A top notch host with good conversation. The room was splendid, the house beautiful, and Sheelagh's breakfast was different and delicious. She also provided some good tips on where to go. We loved our stay with her!
Sheelagh was lovely – super friendly and full of interesting stories and facts about the area. Breakfast was great, and the location was breathtaking. Not too far a walk from Ballyferriter's delightful pubs, either!
