It was nice stay in Mango Tree Homestay. The place is little far off from Hospet but really close to the archeological sites of Hampi. Also if you wany a quite stay in a homely environment it is the perfect place to be. The owner also helps with necessary tips and arrangements for sightseeing. Homemade breakfast and coffee we really liked most. The restaurant facility of the owner although Vegetarian but of really good quality.

Great location. Could walk everywhere and only need a tuktuk driver for one day to see monuments. Rocky was very helpful in organising a driver to pick me up from the train station in Hosapete. The room was very clean and the aircon was fantastic. Best is to wake up early and see everything before it gets too hot. Then sit in the room and cool off. Wifi worked great! Rocky helped organise laundry too. Plenty of cafes and restaurants in the town. Rocky even let me borrow his computer to do some data transfers. I stayed during Holi festival! It was amazing. Rocky even let me stay till my bus that left in the evening. Would recommend for convenience!

It was an amazing experience.
It was an amazing experience. We went for Holi and it was worth it. The only pain point was the weather. It was too hot so I would definitely recommend you go either during monsoon or post that. Apart from that the landscape is very unique and beautiful.

Hampi is a very special place even if you just want to watch the sunrise or the sunset, however it alot more to offer with the history of the city. I fully rec
ommend you hire a qualified guide for the day it costs around 2500/3000 but well worth it otherwise your just walking around ancient sites not knowing what it all was. It's very spread out so you need transport, scooters tuktuk taxi. Alot is free but some places you need to pay it costs 600 which lets you into 3 of the locations. The temple elephant goes down to the river for its daily bath which is a good experience as you can get in the river near to it. Just enjoy it

The sheer extent of the historical sites is remarkable.
The sheer extent of the historical sites is remarkable. We benefitted from being adjacent to this in the Temple View Hotel in the bazaar area. The museum and main palaces are a must, made more pleasant and achievable on the heat by engaging an auto rickshaw driver at an agreed rate for the day( suggest 1,500 rupees for the day) Chill out bamboo was our favourite eating and cool drink location.

Nobody will tell you the following.
Nobody will tell you the following.
I previewed nearly hundreds of videos on Hampi on YouTube. But nobody gave proper iternary about how to visit the places.
Use Google map and directions to visit the places. Hier two wheeler if you don't have your own vehicle. Do not go for auto rickshaw option unless otherwise you can't drive.
Start the morning with queens bath and surrounding temples. Then visit Vitthal temple.
Take some rest in your hotel and in the evening visit sunset point and surrounding temples.
At night you can visit virupaksha temple.
Next morning visit sunrise point. Then go for "darli" ride. Visit the other side of Hampi that is hippy Island. Visit Anjanedari hill.
If you have more time you can visit the other remaining places.

As the Hampi is famous for the Stone Chariot which was situated at the Vitthala Temple and other monuments which includes Virupaksha Temple. The best thing is the Sunrise & Sunset at the different locations i.e. Matanga Hills, Sanapur Lake etc. Overall the Best trip for the solo travellers as we will get partners from the another countries which came to roam Hampi. If you want to chillout with your friends definitely visit but book a room near virupaksha temple and use bicycle or the journey which will give best experience ever.
The hotel person took another booking and didn’t provide me accommodation.. i was roaming in the whole hampi for stay… I want to make a complaint to booking.com despite of having confirmed booking i was denied stay.. the other hotel provided by the incharge of padma villa charged me very high i.e Rs. 3500/- with a reason of pick season…i have wasted my money and energy in search of stay.. I want compensation for this..A lot of stress and agony.. We were roaming with out luggage in the whole hampi but couldn’t find a place to stay.
The place is awesome. Kudos to Ashish, Ganesh, Pradeep and Sunny for making my stay comfortable. Thanks Ashish for helping me to plan the visit. The rooms are nice and clean. Completely chill vibes. Food is good and reasonably priced. All the staff is really nice and they work towards making the stay as comfortable as possible. The ferry point is about 2 km from the hotel. If you are planning to visit Hampi, Lazy Panda should be your stay.
The location is very good though little far from the main city. Entry through a rough road. A campfire area is also good for having dinner. A very good location for younger customers travelling alone or with a companion for a day or two. Four deluxe double-bed huts with walls made from bamboo strips are available and tents are also available for single, double or even four people to stay & enjoy the adventurous stay.
The room is very clean and comfortable beds.. one of the best place to stay and the food which is served by the owner of homestay is yummy. Over all gives a homely stay. The food is served on request basis. Best trip and stay i had in Hampi. I would recommend people to stay in this homestay. Vani the homestay owner looks after you for every need and takes care of you and guides about the place. Amazing place to stay.
Mango Tree is a small hotel where you'll feel at home. The room was super clean and breakfasts were very delicious. Most importantly the owners are the most welcoming, generaous and lovely people you'd ever meet. Lakshmi who runs the place, made sure we are comfortable and helped us discovering the area with useful tips. We'll be coming back again for our next Hampi visit without any hesitation. Recommended 10/10
The location is a big big plus.. away from the city hustle and nestled among nature makes it a great place to stay.. The home cooked food is excellent and the landlady ensures that you feel at home. The couple are excellent hosts and the staff is very cooperative and helpful. The rooms are clean and the homestay is worth the stay..
I will definitely be staying here when I visit hampi again.
Lovely hotel, clean and meeting European standards. I loved the swimming pool which was every day clean and well maintained. All the staff was super friendly and they made a small talk when meeting us in the halls, we felt very welcomed here. Food in restaurant was delicious, we appreciated a bar area as well ideal for evening drinks. Location is great if you are planning to visit Hampi.
Guest house is exactly besides virupaksha temple. Location wise is it’s a great option to stay. Walkable distance from Hampi bus stand. You don’t need to take rickshaw to reach this place from Hospet. You can take a bus from Hospet bus stand and reach Hampi bus stand. Hot water for bath is available throughout the day. Drinking water was provided in the central lobby.
We had great experience!! Nice place to stay with family and has easy access to waterfalls, lake and corakel boat riding. Huts are in good condition, well maintained and they have restaurant that serves awesome food. The staff (Pavan & Prem) are courteous, jovial and the owner Moulali is very friendly person. I would recommend Island Vibes for sure.
I would say, Sanjay has been a great host, room was neat and clean, well maintained. I liked the terrace sitting area. Sanjay also helped us to plan the daily itinerary. We enjoyed the whole trip very much. Also it's worth mentioning the food at his restaurant was really awsome. Definitely would recommend someone to stay here whenever visit hampi.
We had a great stay. The rooms are good and comfortable with a good AC and soft beds. The hosts were very friendly and helped us out amazingly with getting around in Hampi and booking the train. Their food was the best we had in Hampi, you must try it! The cold water the hosts provided was also a highlight ;-). Cute kittens and a friendly dog.
Everything was very good about this home stay especially the surroundings was nearly a peaceful place and their hospitality was top notch, they guide me from railway station in the midnight and make sure everything is comfortable, Genuinely a definite Homestay when you are visiting Hampi .
Very nice hotel. The fact that it is situated inside Vidyanangar makes it truly attractive as the region is very quiet, green and a pleasure to walk/cycle around in the evening. Though it is a bit of a drive from Hampi, and the highway is not in good shape.
This is a great place to stay in Hampi. The staff were very friendly and were going above and beyond to help us. Also the food options at the restaurant are of good quality and reasonable price comparing to a tourist spot.
Easily one of the best views to stay at in Hampi. The owner Harsha too is easily one of the friendliest energies to connect with. A must stay for any traveller who needs their silences. Thank you Harsha for everything 😊
The home stay is close to Hampi. The host is very helpful , always smiling , who arranged a tuktuk , a tourist guide and food for us. It was clean.
We would love to stay there again and highly recommend it.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is amazing close to nature and yet walking distance from Hampi. The rooms are simple but clean and with everything you need.
One of the best places to stay in Hampi! The room was modern, had good mosquito nets on the windows, and was very clean. We liked it so much we stayed for 2 extra nights!
