It is in the hills towards the Appennino and remains quite fresh even when the weather is very hot. The swimming pool is a big bonus. From there you can explore Florence, Pisa, Bologna and many other places. Also, there is a variety of nice and not so expensive local restaurants around the place.FrancescoFrance

We were blown away by the charm of the hotel and the scenery. The staff were amazing and so knowledgeable about the local beers, wine and spirits. The photos don’t do this place justice. Podere il Sasso is a B&B but it give any hotel a run for it's money, amazing location just above Bilancino lake, with view, was a really hod day but it was a nice stay because there was a gentile breze (very commen there), spacious room, clean and amazing sleep qualitiy. The host where amazing, so nice! A Must
