Fading elegance. Huge rooms, huge bed, period furniture. Great shower. Balcony. Secure parking behind keycoded gate. Not too far to local bars and restaurants and a 10 minute walk to the train station. A thoughtful touch was a bottle opener left at reception. Really liked this place although the complete absence of staff is a little odd!

The people who run this place are very nice, the breakfast is delicious, there is a traditional Italian atmosphere, the rooms are clean, the location turned out to be better than I expected, there is one bus to the center of Venice, which leaves and arrives very close to the hotel.
