This place is amazing. It has exceeded all of my expectations. The host and her daughter are absolutely incredible - they have gone above and beyond to ensure that our stay is perfect. we had to do the check out at 2:00 am because we needed to get to out flight, and they woke up before us and made us a perfect breakfast with homemade cakes and sandwiches, so we could take them with us The room and the bathroom were stunning, we can see that they thought about everything! I highly recommend this place and we are definitely planning to return here in the future!

Agriturismo Le Case Del Merlo, hotel in Milo

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Agriturismo Le Case del Merlo is located in Milo. It features its own vineyards and free WiFi in public areas.

Pleasant stay in the middle of the vineyards. Great views to the Etna and to the sea from everywhere. Nice dinner restaurant with honest food a la carte to reasonable prices, where you also have breakfast with the amazing view in the morning. We just relaxed for couple of days at the end of our Sicily trip, and did a little hike in the forest nearby to a very old oak tree. It's also quite convenient as a start point for Etna tours and for visiting some towns nearby like Taormina etc. The place is being run by lovely people, very friendly and happy to help. Overall great experience!

Nice and helpful personel and a lovely dog Bianca.

Nice and helpful personel and a lovely dog Bianca. View on Etna and the sea is stunning. They have the best white wine we ever tasted made from their own grapes. Dinner and breakfast are good, also their red wine collection is great. Beds were bit hard and pool was chilly, that was the only 'downside'. If you want to explore the Etna, ask Antonio about the tour from Francesco, worth every penny.

Great location for visiting Etna National Park.

Great location for visiting Etna National Park. Short distance from cablecar that takes you up the mountain; we recommend paying for the van ride to go up farther than the cablecar because that portion includes a guide who shows you interesting things about the volcano, including fumaroles and the Valle del Bove lava valley. (We found this activity to be very interesting and enjoyable, although expensive. Do Not Leave Any Valuables in your car in the cablecar parking lot.) The town is very small - one grocery store and only 1 restaurant, but it's a good one: The 4 Arches (Quattro Achi) - very popular, reservations recommended, but only open for dinner Monday to Friday, lunch and dinner Sat and Sunday. The climate is a lot cooler in Milo than on the coast -- a welcome change. The roads are usually narrow and at times extremely steep. Underfoot is all crunchy volcanic rock and ash. We went on a hike to find an ancient oak tree -- the Ilice di Carrinu.

We had a perfect view of Etna from our room, the hotel was a quick walk to the Etna Adventure Park and easy access to other activities- perfect for our family stay. The restaurant down the road, 4 Arches (?) was amazing and really accommodating. The hotel owners were so helpful and friendly, we felt really well looked after and even when the hotel was crazy busy, they made time to stop and check we'd settled in ok. We could have stayed for much longer and I wish we had- there was much more to explore in the area than we had time to do.

The only problem in Sicily is rubbish- bags over the roads, dirt on public beaches, especially on Etna's side sea coast, Westen coast as we found is much cleaner. We were really shocked, especially that they have separate garbage collection and lots of bags with rubbish on the roads. Apart from that the island is paradise.

Facilities comparable to a 5 star hotel. Completely renewed room and bathroom, amenities are top quality: bed and linen, towels, welcome pack, etc. Incredible breakfast, charming host Elvira and her daughter (who speaks perfect English). Cozy town with good local food and shops, we were lucky and we saw the Wine fest. Outstanding views of Etna. Great location if you are visiting Etna, Taormina or Catania.

everything was great!!!! especially the host who took a lot of time with us explaining how to get on Etna, the most convenient routes, cool spots ecc. He also gave us a room with Etna view even at no extra cost if we didn't book for that. Everything regarding the hotel was perfect from the room to the breakfast. Unfortunately we spent just a night there. I higly recommend.

Me and my parents stayed only one night there but we wish we stayed longer. It’s the bestest of the bestest, from the host to the pool to the location! We received the warmest welcome and discount for the restaurants and cable car. Breakfast was the best, needless to say the pool! Would definitely come back and recommend to everyone without hesitation!

We wanted a place close to Etna and Milo fit the bill. Our hosts were wonderful, very friendly. The room was spacious and modern, with a great patio to enjoy sunsets. We can also recommend the pizzeria a short walk up the street, a locals place with great food and an interesting menu.
