One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. I felt like a privileged house guest in this beautifully decorated colonial style hotel. It had an incredible 1930s vibe that would make the perfect setting for an Agatha Christie murder mystery! If Hercule Poirot had turned up in the library to partake in a tisane I wouldn’t have been surprised! The location was utterly breathtaking, the rooms were charming and super stylish and the jazz music playing in the background created the perfect ambience. The owner is a very entertaining character and should be incredibly proud of what he has achieved here. It’s a truly exceptional hotel and estate and I am not one to give praise lightly! I would return to Sri Lanka just to stay here again.

The owners make this place amazing. Warm reception with tea, helped with transportation to see the sights, fed us amazing meals and made us feel like family. We had to book this hotel last minute because the other one we've had originally was disgusting.
Upon arrival just 20 mins after booking, the manager checked us in in quite fast
Rooms were spacious and had good mountain view
Breakfast is continental, but portions are good
