Fantastic little campsite in the middle of the Sri Lankan bush, only accessible by 4WD. Head in here and feel the serenity. The hotel was excellent. The pool like all the pools was very hot, not refreshing but huge and good to get wet and let the breeze slightly cool you down.

Yakaduru Yala is located on the buffer Zone of Yala National Park. It's just 5 minutes away from the Yala National Park Entrance.

We loved our time at yakaduru. The place only has a few buildings so it had a really intimate feeling. It was right in amongst the national park and nature so you felt like you were really immersed. I don’t mind camping but hate bugs so had been a bit worried but the yakaduru team check your room every night and use a special smoke recipe to detract animals. The staff were so attentive and kind, would recommend this special place in a heartbeat.
I was upgraded to garden view room which was great I had the safari with the hotel which was as good as any safari . We saw many animals , the Elephants were most impressive and seeing a crocodile within stone throw .
Staff , very friendly , attentive and kind .
